You can; 1-purchase a private plan I the exchange that does cover it 2- you can get on the wife's plan if she covers it 3- see if current employer offers another plan with coverage 4- self pay in Texas is about same price as Mexico. There is another thread on this already -

Jersrose43 replied to AnEMal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It was 4 days before I started getting worried I had a csection 16 years ago and was impacted pretty badly. I did a couple tablespoon prune just and equal part Water. Sipped for few hours Saturday and Sunday around noon I was clear. Yay -
If medicare is your secondary coverage why did they cancel? That's not clear. They'll just pick up the costs of copays and deductibles after Cigna.

Congratulations! Sounds like you're doing really well I've read many folks on the site feel better with warm liquids. I am the opposite. The cold makes me feel way better than the hot/warm liquids. -

Some folks are just slower losers than other I think there's a forum for that. As long as you are logging everything you eat, following the food plan, and staying active then I think you should meet your goals. -

1500 at 4 weeks? I can't even get 200 at 6 days. I think you need to talk to your nutritionist -
Lap band or sleeve? Why did you get revision to sleeve?
Jersrose43 replied to okaykay's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I went the sleeve route because of all the complications I had read about. Then I was talking to one of my neighbors who works at the local hospital doing gastric surgeries and she said they get an equal part of lap removal request as they do first time lap bands. My surgeon had said he does remove almost 1/5 as many as he puts in. That to me was telling enough. I went sleeve.
