And your 850 is chump change. I pay $117 every pay period to cover myself, hubby 2 kids 26 pay periods. So at near $12,000 a year am very glad I have a job that provides insurance that covered my $42,000 jospital stay, $8000 anesthesia, and $5800 surgeon fee and left me with $3k to pay. All good. -

To make you all feel better. I work at Cigna and that's my plan. We believe in knowing the value of your healthcare dollar and how it's spent. So when you have "skin" in the game you seek out quality care at affordable prices. -
That's not needed but double check the link I posted to the medical policy to be absolutely sure

Hope your employer purchased a waiver that doesn't hold them to that Appeal but there are other threads of that not working Start over -
You need a bmi of 40 and up to be approved 3 nutritional visits in 89 days or more -- not 88 A letter from a doc that is not the surgeon so pcp, recommending you have surgery. You can read full medical policy here: https://cignaforhcp.cigna.com/public/content/pdf/coveragePolicies/medical/mm_0051_coveragepositioncriteria_bariatric_surgery.pdf
-
That's because you have a great employer who purchased a waiver. Thank your employer.

https://cignaforhcp.cigna.com/public/content/pdf/coveragePolicies/medical/mm_0051_coveragepositioncriteria_bariatric_surgery.pdf This is the Cigna policy on their website. See bullet point 3. 2nd arrow.

You need another doctors recommendation. Can be a pcp or on or another specialist you are seeing Whether you need to see them to get a letter is up to you and that doc
-
Should be about 5 days to hear Just make sure you have 3 nutritional visits in 89 days or more Not 88 And you have a letter from a doc not your surgeon, recommending surgery Must be 40 bmi or greater or 35 with co morbidity

God I miss my rice ! I had sashimi for dinner tonite and I forgot to tell him to hold the pint of rice. Well there it is the first rice since 6/24 sleeve. Oh wow. I had the sashimi Bliss is defined as 4 ounces of tuna or salmon. Raw. Just a touch of soy. And then there is the rice. So do I have room ? No Am I gonna make some and be uncomfortable. Um nooooo right? And so I had exactly 3 grains Didn't taste right. Let me see if I am wrong. 7 more grains. Oh boy where am I going ? What am I doing? I must stop. I must. 10 more grains on the chopstick! Ach. I will stop! I know! Wasabi is my friend! Lots and lots and lots of wasabi met rice today. And got mixed and mixed and mixed. The rice is now green Well see I told you it tasted funny And now it's downright unedible. Head hunger controlled and back In the damn box Rose 1, rice .5, brain 0!!!

Do as kandis states. Don't dubmit now. Lose the 17 pounds and start over from your high weight since your start. Try a liquid meal replacement maybe once a day to get it off
