I was told not to wear dark color nailpolish. You may wear some basic makeup right until you are to start changing into the clothes for the OR, but it would be best to remove it as soon as your dressed. After my surgery I would have loved to put some color on my face,I looked translucent! :huytsao

I use GeniSoy and GNC's Vegefuel. They have 25 and 30 g of protein, respectively, are non-fat, low in carboh. and calories, have no taste and are easily disolved when stirred with a fork, so no shaking or blending, and no lumps either. The are made from soy, so make sure you are not allergic if you want to try them! :car:

I use Centrum chewables and Caltrate+D plus mineral for calcium. (Viactiv vit and Tums are good substitutions. The liquid stool softener burned my throat so I got it in pills and crushed them. Remember to bring your favorite lip balm and body lotion for the stay at the hospital. I forgot mine and nothing they gave was good enough. Good luck! :car:

I had a sleep study done as a requirement. Got a cpap for sleep apnea, they needed my personal mask and settings for the recovery room (did not use it). My insurance paid for the machine,but I've seldom used it (too uncomfortable) In need to go for another mask fitting and desensitization. I hope the weight loss helps, I used to sleep much better before I became morbidly obese
