Kristen and I had our 1st post-op visit today! I lost a total of 8 lbs since the surgery! Kristen lost a total of 10.5 lbs since the surgery.... Very excited! Love ya, Lisa Marie

Hey Carrie, I was banded 8/10 and I feel the same things you are feeling. We will be ok. We need to keep a positive attitude. We can do this. I am sending you lots of *Hugs* and *support*. I have to be honest and say I thought I was going to bounce right back and feel wonderful and I don't. I have cried a few times in the last few days. I miss food but am not hungry or maybe I am. Sometimes I think it is just a battle with the food demons I have in my head... Take care... we will get through this... !! Love, Lisa Marie

Kristen and I are banded! I cannot believe it. 8/10 was the day we were banded. I feel pretty week today and have a lot of pressure in my chest. Is that normal? I am not hungry but keep thinking about food. Very weird. Kristen is doing well. We go to Dr. Kwons for our 1st ck up on Monday! Love ya!

Hey you... Dr. Kwon apparently feels I am drinking too fast which is causing my band to spasm. So I am slowing it down and I will see how that goes. I am on another week of liquids. (Isopure) Kristen is doing fantastic! Dr. Kwon put her on 2 weeks of Protein shakes. I am a little bummed today because I was expecting to feel better than I do. I am trying to keep a positive attitude though... I am glad I have Kristen and all of you at support to go through this with. I will talk with you soon... Have a good day! Lisa Marie

Hi Everyone.... I had my 1st post op visit today. I was banded 8/10. I lost 8lbs since the surgery for a total of 24 so far! I am very excited! Now the bad news, I am on another week of liquids due to the fact I am drinking too fast and my chest is very uncompfortable. Dr. Kwon wants me to slow it down to be more band friendy! ---Good Morning Everyone!--- Well tomorrow is the BIG day. I can't believe it. My little sister is also having the surgery tomorrow so we are in this together. She just turned 22 yesterday! I am very excited, nervous, and anxious. Any pointers you can give me for my post-op experiences would be greatly appreciated! Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Everyone, Well my surgery is a week away and I am starting to get nervous. I am excited though. I am anxious to being my weightloss journey. My husband said something to me yesterday that really bothered me. He said that he hoped I did not leave him once I lost the weight. Why did he say that to me? I love him. We have been together for 10 years, have 2 beautiful girls. Was anyone else so nervous before surgery? What did you do or think of to calm you down? Have a good day everyone!

***Good Morning all you wonderful people*** Well there is only 6 days left until My sister and I get banded together. I am excited and nervous. I have a question for all of you. I have trouble with the Protein shakes. What drinks do you use? I do not know if is the consistency of them or what but they make me feel sick to my stomach. Also what do you use for Vitamins? Hey everyone, Well I was approved and am so excited! I have a 8/10 surgery date! Please goive me all the advice I need. I am getting a little nervous! I am looking forward to the rest of my life! I am afraid though that once I have the band I will be afraid to eat. Has anyone else had the same fear? What other fears have you had. What did you find easy? What did you find hard?

Tomorrow I go for my last test. I have to go for my Endoscopy. Can anyone tell me how it is? I am a little nervous! I am excited though since it is my last test!!!! Whoohooo!!! :banana

I am having it @ Bon Secours. It should be ok then! I am still nervous though.
