<p>I have been banded for eight days now. I can't hardly wait until I fill normal. I have been having pain still and I thought that it would be over by now. Although when I look at the scales it makes the pain bearable. </p> <p>I am real lucky because my family give me lots of support. I did have a really good friend who told me basically if you eat less and exercise you don't need the surgery s you can save the money. she has never had a weight problem and just didn't understand. I hope your family members come around. Good Luck</p>

hey Lap-bandit How is your pain doing? It was really nice meeting you in TJ. After the plane ride and six hour drive home and two footballgames the next day has done me in. I am just relaxing today. I just want everyon that is going are thing about going to Dr. G a great choice. What caring people. My surgery went well and I had very little gas ( thanks to lapbandit for sharing her gas x). The whole team takes good care of you. They take the time to answer all of your questions. Laura ran us around very helpful she even took us shopping. The clinic was clean and everyone new there stuff. Laura even went above and beyond for us. I needed to pick up some cancer tonic for a gentleman that was not able to make the trip himself.I was not surehow I was going to make it to get it. So Laura grabbed my mom and drove her to get the medicine while I was in surgery. What a great women. Now I am on way to a new life.:whoo:

Hi Audrey I had surgery with Dr.G on Sept 14. He is wonderful the care you get is great. They make you feel real comfortable. I would do it again with him if I had to. Good luck with your choice. There is a whole section on him in Doctors and Hospitals.

Congrats on setting your date bakerman and good luck:clap2: I am going down to have mine done on Sept. 14. Good luck with less beer. My husband has me doing a personal challenge to do the pre diet from Sept. 1 to my date and the longer you do it the less you want I just try to stay busy. Plus the ten pounds I have lost helps. maddy1969 Hope you get a date soon the waiting can be awful. I had to postpone my surgery for a month( which that is not that long) but it was awful for me. I finally have my date and it is coming up fast.

Lap-bandit I hope we do get to meet. I just booked my room at the Camino Real. Are you going alone? I am so excited to start my new life. I feel like a child waiting for a trip to Disneyland. Last night I was looking at all the before and after pictures it almost made me cry just because I see that it works.

Hello everyone! I am new to this. I have set my banding date with Dr. Gonzalez on September 14th. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I have such a great feeling about Dr.G after reading all the wonderful things said about him. Ithink I am more nervous about the flight than the procedure. I have been obese since I was a child. This is the light at the begining of a new tunnel for me. :whoo:
