I've spent the last 15 years fighting a weight problem, and the last 4 with type 2 diabetes. Even through exercise and diet, the insulin shots make it even harder to lose weight. I was going to get the sleeve since I don't have that much to lose, (how's that for rationalization) but all my doctors are recommended the bypass. The re-plumbing makes me a little nervous. My surgery is Mar. 31 so I better make up my mind ! Lol. I work every day, but love hiking and traveling. I'm hoping the surgery helps my knees, herd, sleep apnea, and diabetes. I've looked at this for 6 years, and am finally taking the leap. Nervous...but ready !
