I'm 5 days along with my pre op diet and down 10 lbs, but boy I never realized how tempting a Costco Hot Dog could be... Lol I'm getting sleeved in Puerto Vallarta on June 11, actually my birthday, with Doc Lopez as well! I covet those prayers and will extend my own prayers and good wishes. Yup, scared and excited too! Fingers and toes super crossed!

I just started my 2 week pre op diet for sleeve surgery on June 11 (my birthday!) in Puerto Vallarta. I'm both excited and scared. Trying not to overthink it and just get it done and move forward with life. Wish me luck, I'll keep y'all posted; by the way I'm from BC Canada in case there are any Canucks out there getting sleeved.

Hmm what won't I miss? Not fitting into seats at hockey games and movie theatres, let alone economy seating on planes. I can't wait to buy a suit off the rack and to buy shoes with laces!... Lol The best part is being able to actually live the fantasy of ... NORMAL ;0)

I'm a June 11 as well! And it's my birthday too! Nervous excited and most of all...ready to be born again , as it were ... Lol

I'm absolutely thrilled to hear the success stories about Dr. Lopez..........going under in June on my birthday!........can't wait to start my life over, kinda like being born again

Hi all, I guess I replied in error to another reply.........sorry about that, I'm a newbie! I have been a little paranoid about this whole process; however, reading all of your responses has been helpful already. I am scheduled to have the gastric sleeve done by Doc Lopez through Specialized Bariatrics this June. So far my intake experience has not been ideal, since my emails have not been received in a timely fashion............makes me worry! Brenda is great on the phone and has made me feel better about the experience........nevertheless, I welcome any information that will help me overcome this uneasiness. Thanks for listening!

Hi all, Brand new here and a little paranoid. Just got off the phone with Brenda at Specialized Bariatrics as my emails were not being received. Feel a lot better after the talk.......just don't want to be the guy that gets taken advantage of because of a perceived desperation to get this surgery! Mine is upcoming in Puerto Vallarta in June with Doc Lopez............I feel somewhat relieved with the above responses and am always looking for more information. Any input is appreciated.
