I had gastric bypass on March 26th. Everything went well they said, I feel well except for the pain in the left front incision site hurting quite profusely. My biggest letdown is that I've gained 25 pounds. The surgeon said that I should not worry about that because there was such a trauma to the abdomen that it is the body's way of reacting and that it is all water weight. I guess that I need to get out of the numbers mindset and accept the process. I'm home now and looking forward to my husband going back to work in North Dakota so that I can focus on myself alone. I hope everyone else did well!
