Hello! I am looking for other sleevers to talk to and find out what they are doing to help them best! I try for the most part to focus on protein protein and more protein. I try to get my fluids in as much as possible. I have been stuck at -65 forever!

Did u all get the email about the live support groups!? I think it's really cool and I would consider being leader if people could help out and bring snack and drinks. I'm on a fixed income right now but I would love to be able to meet other people like me! Miami or Broward in Florida

How long did u all wait before u had an alcoholic beverage? I am 5 weeks post op!

Yea I'm guessing every one has heard something different. I'm sure they don't want is to drink because it's empty and eased calories...

Your aren't going to want to eat anything the first week!! Lol you will probably have no appetite. U will just be sipping in clear liquids probably the first 2 days and then be on liquids after that. U will be able to have broths... So of u like it have it ready!

I just got the call!!!! I got approved from insurance!!!!! Surgery is 4/2!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!

Day 2 of liquid diet I am so hungry!!!!

So I'm about to end this night and tomorrow I start my liquid diet for the two weeks prior to the surgery. When I got up to put away the food for the last time I felt a weird sense of emotions. It's really here... The beginning of a new chapter. I have never been able to have self control and now I have to get it together. Food is the only thing I have ever been able to control and now I am giving that up. Please God help me adjust to this new life.

Don't postpone! You deserve to be a healthy you and live many more years!!! He is not stopping you from doing this because he loves you! If he really loved u he would want you to get healthy so you could be with him for many more years! Please really think about what's best for you! Put yourself first'

Thanks everyone for the encouragement it has really made me feel better!

Sooooo I feel like I have eaten a lot of yummy foods and saying good bye to most of them.... And I go to my doctors office yesterday for my EKG and clearance and I lost 3lbs! I can't even believe it! Anyways I got the clearness for my doctor. I have my endoscopy tomorrow and that's it! Still trying to decide what to have for dinner tonight... Crazy thing is I don't even have an appetite.... I'm just ready to start this liquid diet tomorrow and get the balls rolling on new life !!

Am I the only one that wants to have a last meal before I start my liquid diet? Nothing crazy just my favorite meal since I know I will probably never have it the same way or enjoy it has much again?

Wow yes the diets are definitely different. I have never had good self control so the next two weeks are going to be interesting. I'm glad I have this site for motivation and support!

I have only bought my protein powder from vitamin shoppe.
