Be very carful with not taking Vitamins, there is more and more research showing long term damage due to not taking vitamins for us. I also did a lot of reading about taking Flintstones and or non bariatric vitamins and I decided the potential risks out weigh any convince. I take mine and shakes like my life depends on it. I also get my food in because I know that is important too. Balance and new normal is a constant adjustment. I want healthy habits to be formed now so I can be a good example to my future children.

@@Bronxmerci are you getting your Protein from other sources like shakes or anything? I would follow up with the counseling. I know my fear has bordered the mind set of my previous eating disorder days. The goal is health and that includes our mental health and emotional health.

My hope is that having babies after getting my body healthy and strong I will have a better chance of staying that way during and after babies

I have not had babies yet, so I know my body will forever be changing

@@amylynns I had no idea that I have a small build until now! I actually have petite bones, I always told people I was big boned 8-) I am shocked every time something new fits! My torso is longer and legs are pretty short so some clothes just don't work. I have never been smaller than a 13 EVER! even I think middle school

@@Bronxmerci you look fab!!! and your tummy looks flawless! I tend to wear a medium rise jean so it gives me better shape and holds in my jiggle tummy hahahaha

a coworker gave me a size 2 the other day (I am most comfortable in a 4) BUT THE 2 FIT!!! I am scared I am going to disappear!! I am not getting rid of my 6 or 8s yet. I know sometimes we go lower and then balance out.

Same thing for me too, I love my RNY! I also did a lot of research and came up with much better long term results with bypass. -
Don't give up ladies, I know I slowed down many times keep on with the new life style changes and it will come off. If you still feel like it is not budging call your NUT or Doctor. they should have recommendations. We are all different and have different needs.

I guess if you complain in writing then it will magically fix it's self.

@@Shadow427 your week put my bad day/mood in to perspective. I am so sorry this has all happened :-(

also applebees has their nutrition info online. I always make a plan for what I am going to order and have a plan B, that way I am not tempted by things that are not beneficial to me and my body.

any thing you have for the first time, try at home. sometimes I just get soup and have my protein at home. also be carful with BBQ sauces as they are often high in sugar.

I take Bariatric Advantage Multi Advanced EA, and the calcium chews (caramel is my favorite) Then I take Biotin and B12 I just get from the store. I love the BA and all my labs have been better than before surgery :-)

I eat about a cup of food too. If I eat too much less then I am just hungry an hour later and end up eating things I shouldn't. I am good at keeping at about a cup or less, but also need to work really hard on my snacking and eating little bites here and there. I know that is how things slip up and things start to come back.....and that I a huge huge fear. I have not had children yet and I want to have the best habits, and health before I do try and get pregnant. (no not any time too soon) But I know this is the time to correct myself and make new normals.

Sounds like an excellent Birthday weekend!!! I am so glad you had such a good time!!

I do believe if you have lost, that would be the definition of "not a plateau" congratulations! 2 pounds is amazing!

I try for 800 calories a day but some days I end up at 900-1,000 but my protein is at 100-110g. I am approximately 9 pounds from goal.

Well my boyfriend was right as soon as we got home and I got back in to my routine for a few days and did mostly shakes I lost the weight from our trip and more. Then today we went hiking and I only made it a little over a mile up and was DONE. I think it's because I had a shake and not a real food Breakfast. But I got super weak and sick. He hugged me and told me we should just go back to be safe. I cried because I felt like I had failed or let him down. He of course reassured me that was not the case but it was hard. I made it back to the car but just barely, now that we are home and I am nibbling at real food I am starting to feel better.

I looked at all the different formulas (that say I should weight like 130 and 135, BMI says between 111.2-150.2. My doctor said 140, but I know my scale is always different than the doctors (partly because I am not naked at the doctors office) So I figured 137 was a nice number and then maybe at my doctors office I will actually be what he said I should be....and I like the number 7 more than a zero... yes this was actually my thought process.

@@amylynns Thank you. I know I have to keep looking at my pictures to remind myself how far I have come. I was on my period while we were gone too so maybe that has something to do with it. My bf has lost over 100 pounds also so he knows how I feel. He does wonderful and encouraging me and helping me to get up and get moving. I was defiantly still getting my Protein in, but I was also getting all the other fun foods in :-( Thank you for your encouragement. I know in my head, but my emotions get sad.

So my vacation was wonderful and my boyfriend ran an incredible 2:57:27 marathon at the Boston Marathon. I jokingly had said I am going to gain 5 pounds being away from home. I was joking, I knew we would be walking a lot and figured it would balance any extra calories I eat. well.....we got home and I had gained 3.8 pounds!! then I did all shakes and water yesterday, checked this morning....I gained another .6......I am freaking out!! this puts me back to being in the Overweight category and not loosing 100 pounds..... I feel like my goals that I celebrated accomplishing were all lies. I want to be back where I was last week so bad. I am doing shakes and Water again, I don't know what else to do......
