oh wow mine didn't hurt just felt funky. but it also souds like you had more tube in you than I did.

I am 13 days post-op and my first day back to work. I am tired but doing pretty good. I am still on clear liquids and protien shake. I am hoping that when I get some food tomorrow I I might be less tired.

I am doing a scrap book as I go.

I don't have my exact date yet but I am praying for Oct!! every thing is done and I am ready. I am a Kaiser paitent so I had to do 6 months of classes!!! How is every one doing?????

I live in San Diego :-) I should be 6 months out after my surgery :-) I'll be there.

It's going well. No, no surgery yet, I am still pretty far out. I am in week 4 of the 24 week program I have to complete before I can get a date.

I'm pre op and in San Diego.

It is, but part of me is very grateful. I know I need to make lifestyle changes and figure out the emotional part of my food problems. The surgery only operates on your stomach not your brain, and I know I need the extra time to process and learn why I do what do and then change it.

That would make sense.....I gained this week and the biggest difference for me was my water intake. (Headed to get my glass of water) good luck to you.

Kendra that's fantastic!!! I am so happy for you!!! I hope he comes around for your sake cause its important to have those your close to to support you!!! It didn't go well :-( the seminar was awful! Not informative at all a YouTube video would have been better. Now my brother is even less supportive of it. I was so embarrassed I wasted my parents and brothers time, I apologized to them over and over. I guess I'm going to have to endure the interrogation and explanation with him on my own and educate them myself. :-( hope you are doing well and feeling better :-)

Mandatory. San Diego it's 24 weeks but others have said their program is 12 weeks.

Most have to loose %10, I'm "smaller" so I don't have to but dr told me don't loose more than that if I do

I think the 24 weeks that I have to do is excessive, but I do think your process is extremely fast. I don't think I would be ready yet. Nor would I feel prepared.... I thought Kaiser was much more standardized than this, but I'm finding the each area has a very different program for this. I think there should be a happy medium :-) I thought the 12 weeks sounded reasonable.

Wow!! that is very quick!! you going to be done with surgery and lost most of your weight before I even get a surgery date!! :-)

I pay full out of pocket. So I figured get the best I can. Go big or go home..... Lol
