One week post op down 9lbs

Hi I had my surgery on April 7th. Was in the hospital for 2 days. Was up walking around the day after surgery. I had a couple of problems. One breathing issues seemed like I could not get full breaths. The doctors office told me to use the spirometer 10 times an hour and to increase my walking. It has helped and I don't have that problem any more. I have been having gas issue with everything water, soup, jello. Whenever something went down gas started and got trapped on its way up the esophagus. Sometimes it causes pain. Anyone experience this?
