I know what u mean with head hunger . I get the same way . I just drink Water then to help it . I am also with u on the wait stall so discouraging . I haven't lost anything this week .

I was the same way . I talked to my nutritionist and I eat Greek yougart now. I can handle that . I have my follow up today hope I can have puree food . So far since my surgery date march 3 I have lost 23 lbs . But this week nothing not even a pound . Hopefully I start loosing again .

I am in the same boat had my surgery the same day . lost 23 now I been the same all week I was wondering the same thing what did I do wrong . We get through this and be just fine . -
I stayed two night. But it was the dr choice if thought I was ready to go home or not. He had to make sure I was able to drink and keep it down .

Congrats to everyone have surgery tomorrow. I am now 10 days post op today. And feel great. There is quite a few of you having surgery tomorrow. Tomorrow will start the first day of the rest of your life .

Day to was rough for me as well. Was unable to keep anything down . It gets better I am now12 days post op . I can keep water and everything down . I am still on liquids . I can't wait to see my dr in wed and move to soft foods I want to taste food again .

Hi heather . Welcome to the group , day by day it gets better and easier , a few ups and downs . I know glad it's not an infection .

Ya I went the dr said it looks good the redness is from an allergic reaction to dermbond glue . I can put hydrocortisone cream . Now my only wish is to eat some food . They still have me on the liquid only diet .

My dr didn't give me anything like that either . I only has to the the liquid diet . -
Glad to here you are doing a little bit better. I am going to see the dr this afternoon think I might have and infected incision it red swollen and itching like crazy . And sticky to the touch. .

I have to try those never thought of making a Popsicle out of it. It he pain for me has not been to bad the day after surgery was hell. I see my dr on thurs hopefully I can move in on to soft food.

Hi Chelsea my name is christina . I had surgery in March 3.,2014 as well . I hope you are doing well. I am doing ok I have good moments and bad moments . I can barely drink the protein shakes . I think I am so tired is them .

Today I am 8 days post op . I had my gastric bypass on March 3rd. 2014 . Starting weight was 291.5 I am now down to 274.5 . The second day out of surgery was the worst . I could hold anything down not even Water. Day by day I feel a little better and stronger . I looking forward to my new life . The hardest thing so far in Thai journey is drinking the Protein shakes . I had no trouble before but now it has been difficult .

For my two week pre surgery I had to drink 3 protein shakes a day . And between shakes I could have broth , or a low fat Greek yogurt between shakes
