I noticed a lot of you girl and guys are on during morning hours and less at night so im thinkin you all are at work. Im a stay at home mom and i redeliver newspapers to people who did not get them on the weekends... I dont work right now as much because i have gotten to a point where i feel almost embarrassed to get a job. I have a hard time working in an office because i dont have the right clothing to wear and anything that looks office appropriate in my size is like 35 years older than me.. Well the benefits of seeing my daughter grow up right now are far greater than an office job so for now its ok, but i can be a sit on my azz mom forever....its time to get moving and get my career goin.... So anyway just curious what you all do for a living and basically just tryin to get a feel for you all. p.s. i dont think ive ever used "you all" in a post so many times!!

Ok so i know that those of you that are or were bigger like me...like 250+ have SOME kind of experience with the dreaded spare tire on your lower belly. I have had one child and it was a c-section and ever since my "baby" fat in my stamache has taken a downward turn...its disgusting. Anyone have a method that they truly thinks works? Im starting an excercise program next week and i hope to lose some of this...I wanted to know what most of you are doing to get the HARD TO ELIMINATE areas of your body? My next problem is my thunder thighs.....my biggest section on me is my mid section, butt, and legs....everything else is slightly manageable. HELP!!!!

I think this is very out of line for the Dr. This shouldnt be about what you didnt do and more about what can be done and if your ok. He should have taken your word on if you followed the rules. What a creep. I would write a letter to the office. Also, ive heard it's common to get a UT after surgery because the cathaters can cause them. Hope all that goes well.

Well after the long search i have finally found a job. Some of you may remeber i was complaining that i thought i was being judged on my weight. Well this job was actually a hard job for someone to get. I had to do a phone interview, then a personal interview with 4 executives...and then i had to have a hair sample drug test and background check. I was so excited to hear that they chose me. I am working at UGS in st louis. www.ugs.com I do phone work, mainly gather info for the company to use. Mon-Fri...8-5 and pays good! So point of my story is that for those of you who think they are judging on weight...just stick in there SOMETHING will come up...just might take some time! Good luck all of you!

lol...i know the website looks crazy...its a company that makes the software that most of you who work in major companies use. They make the software that BOEING uses to create their jets. Fun huh?!?!

Lane Bryant Catalog is deffinately a rip-off...its not even close to the stuff yuou get at lane bryant. I swear by www.avenue.com now. Seems their stuff is in most cases cheaper than lane bryant and if you sign up on their website you get coupons in your email weekly for 20% off and all kinds of discounts.

Well i appreciate all the great opinions and views...lemme clear something up....I have confidence....and when i wasnt as heavy i NEVER had a problem getting a job....only now when im 345lbs am i having a prob getting a job. The job i want is an office position, receptionist or admin assist. Im 22 and overweight.....so the HR people see young and overweight and cant seem to look at my qualifications. I am VERY qualified...... Now this may not be from my weight but i can pretty much assume most of the jobs i lost because of this and some of them might have been just a chance thing that someone a little more qualified than me applied. Either way......i was more or less putting this post in to see if anyone has gone through the same thing as me. I have no intention of ever suing anyone for my weight...unless they straightup said "u cant have this job cuz ur fat" then i might sue...lol... thanks for all the responses

Im almost convinced it is because of my weight that no one wants to hire me. I have been to a ton of interviews where i am completely qualified and i have no call backs. I call them and they tell me they have chosen someone else. Now i know the economy is bad for these jobs, but come on, out of like 15 interviews in the past 3 months ive gotton NOTHING? Just frustruated i guess...i have a great personality and im willing to work hard...and know one wants me!!!

Yes it is very hard to see other people and their qualifications, but i know i have a lot of computer experience that these businesses around here need. A lot of the people that have been in these businesses for like 20 years dont have that much "new age" computer experience. I do. I also can bring so much into a company...its a shame no one wants to even give me an opportunity to prove it.

I had one. They put it in after i was out. They pulled it out 6 hours after i was out of surgery. They had it in so much because they had so much fluids going in me i couldnt keep up with the bathroom...lol..when they finally took it our i was peein for like 3 straight minutes....lol...crazy

Oh, my Dr. gave me a bigger band but it all depends on the patient. They will work the same. The Dr. told me i could have children with either. So i would assume thats right.

Yup your feeling everything as you should. Perfectly normal. The shoulder pain i never got but apparently the Dr's like move ya around alot in surgery and causes shoulder pain...anyway...i never had alot of gas eaither i think it just depends on the person. Congrats and good luck!

This exactly as my protein shake tastes!!!! Im in awe over the taste of this, its like no other protein ive had before. Its called "Perfect, Low Carb, Isopure" has 50 grams of 100% ion exchange whey protein isolate. Mmmmmmmm YUMMMMM! I definately did this. Every meal was like my last meal. Dont feel bad. But keep in mind that just because you have the band doesnt mean you cant eat there anymore. You can just smaller portions and you may have to cut the bread out or something....take it easy to you dont have more to lose...

Wow thats so cool! I cant wait til the day i can wear a 16!!!! I think in the "normal" world of sizes 2 and up, 16 is considered large to the skinny people....its almost as if size 20 and up is non exsistant....maybe its because they dont give us hardly any clothes to choose from. Well anyway...i never thought i was as big as i am until i see pics.....its sad... YAY FOR YOU!!!

I just got married!!!! Its such a cool feeling to be engaged! Now im calling my "fiance" and husband...lemme tell you, thats weird! We got married 9-17-05....you guys talk about a date yet?

Well I was banded June 2 and my starting weight was 380 nand im floating between 346-348. Ive had 2 fills. I really starting going back into the rut of eating what i wanted, and even when my band stopped me i still continued to drink and "force" the food down. What was i thinking? I went to the store and thought id find some clothes to wear and noticed i can officially buy one pants size smaller....then i realized that it was only one pants size and by now i should be like 3 pants sizes smaller. Needless to say im depressed over this whole thing. I need some motivation. I just got married September 17th so my husband kept telling me i was cheating the system because i was so stressed out over the wedding. I think he was right in alot of ways, but now the wedding is over and what is my excuse? So the past like 3 days ive been watching tv and last night i realized something...i was watching a show on the "half ton man" while i was eating ice cream, i watched "the biggest loser" while i was eating chili mac, There was a show about a 627 pound woman and i was stuffin my face with a double cheese burger.... WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING? So today i decided is the day, last night i told my hubby i was going to make today the day and he said "good baby" and thats what he always said...what makes last night diff than all the ather nights ive told him im gonna do it.... Well im at a breaking point...i dont want to be fat anymore...i didnmt have this surgery for nuthin! As im writing this im drinkin MY FIRST EVER Protein shake and if i knew it tasted this good i would have done it along time ago! This tastes like a real chalc milk shake!!!! Anyway thanks for listening........would love to hear im not the only one doing this.....ive missed all of you and now im back!
