Im nervous as can be. Tomorrow is the day. A lot of people have given me wonderful information and have given me ideas on what to expect....i kinda got really nervous today because i had to make sure my Will and Living Will were in order JUST IN CASE. I wanted to make sure that if something did happen to me that everything was in place. What a nerve wrecking thing to imagine. I am spending the entire day with my daughter today just enjoying her company and tellin her how much i love her...although she is only 11 mos and has no clue what im saying. My surgery is at 7:30am and i have to be at the hospital at 530am. Scary!!! I pray all goes well and hopefully it will. I will be back Friday and im sure ill come on here and tell me story...for those of you that like to hear it. Thanks to everyone who has listened to me gripe and moan and groan...your support is what keeps a person going when the goin gets tough. I love all of you...even the silent ones that read my posts and never respond...MUAH!

Well becky...41 pounds is an awesome achievement..i thinkwhen the time is right you'll get your fill....are you doing something special to have lost so much so soon?

I think that we hear alot about motorcycle accidents now because it is the season for it. More and more people are getting out and riding and some inexperienced people are as well. In the winter there isnt any riders so we dont hear about it as often. Its just like the deadly car crashes. I definately feel ya on the feelin weepy and stuff...i been like that all week...i know its a slim chance that i would die from my surgery but all i can think about is having something crazy during surgery happen.....scary thought. Oh, and dont get me started on them stupid cops shootin dogs....ive got some major issues with cops just shootin away at aniamals when it was their fault to begin with. AND i bet they really made it out to be a big deal when they said it was pitbulls too!!! You never hear on tv about a poodle getting shot...or them little dogs that snip at people all the time. I was raised with Rottweilers and LOVE them....hope to breed them when i get a house. NO ONE can tell me that PitBulls and Rottweilers are any more dangerous than any other dog.....Its all in how they were raised.....but this is all my opinion...

I cheated. I confess. I really tired to hold it together through this liquid diet thing. I started my Clear liquid diet on Last Thus and last night(sat) i couldnt stand it anymore...i have to get an ultimate cheeseburger from Jack In The Box. I really tried...i almost cried over it. This is bad....now i know how i got this big...im definately realizing whenever im stressed i get cravings like a pregnant woman. So then today i said to myself....im gonna do better i dont need this and i can fight this...so i took my fiance and took him to see 2 movies today. We saw Madagacar and Monster In Law.....welllllllllllll little did i know the urge of movie theater popcorn would be in my face...so i did it again i got popcorn. I could scream i feel so guilty....i felt like goin into the bathroom and pukin it up...sorry for TMI everyone...i think i seriously have an issue with food. This is the hardest thing i have ever done in my life hands down. I need some strength. I hope my liver isnt too big because i cheated on my clear liquid diet. I will be religeous about it from now on...ive made the promise to myself and my fiance is tryin to help me get through this. I hope 3 good clear liquid diet days will be sufficiant for my liver to go down enough. Anyone bigger and have no problem with surgery after only a few days of the liquid diet...im scared i may have just ruined everything for me...why am i so weak!!!! Sorry i had to vent..someone please respond...i really do need some input...

This is rough alright...so far today im doin good....2 jello cups down and mroe to go....i dont wish obesity on anyone!

I have a few people i can call...mainly i need to get my mind on other things....like my daughter and my reason for doing this....i just kept makin excuses to eat something small.....argh

My boggest this was the seed thing. I would eat watermelon like crazy when i was a kid and my dad told me if i swallowed a seed i would grow a watermelon in my tummy....then i swallowed a seed on accident and i cried for 3 days off and on thinking i had something growing in my tummy...my dad cave me a big glass of water and said "here you need to water your seed" i freaked!!!

I dont know what is exactly in the drink...but ISOPURE is suppost to have a really good fruity drink with like 40grams of protien in it...i dunno bout carbs and stuff...havnt tried it yet but heard its really really good.

Thank you....i keep thinking that the Dr is gonna go in and say "stitch her up, she shoulda dieted...." and ill leave with no band. :-( makes me feel like a failure......

Hey i know how you feel...seems each thing is one step forward and for once in my life all the steps are leading forward!!!! I have to have my psych eval done and then im having pre-op tests done on the 26th...surgery on the 2nd!!!! Exciting huh?!?!?!

OMG this excites me to have my surgery! So glad to hear your surgery went well. Mine is in 2 weeks....im excited!!! Good luck with your progress and keep us notified of your success

I to am worried bout who to tell and who not to. I had to tell my boss today and he was like "um ok, well good luck with that" and i told one other person at work who was like "are u sure u wanna do that" I dont like peoples reactions. Im telling my maid of honor...well she actually knows already and is very supportive....but i am not telling anymore more friends for now. All my family knows...but they need to just in case there is an accident or something. Other than that i am kind of confused who to tell....some may have opinions i dont want to hear...

Well i was a lurker until i made the decision to have the lap band done. Now im slowly weaning my way into the board...hehe... come back and visit us or keep us posted froma library computer.... good luck

Wow Pat, that seems like a alot of work on your plate. Sounds fun tho. I hope to manage some realestate if i get mroe successful later in years. I hear it can bring a great return with the right place in the right area.

OMG there is so much stuff on Branson. Do a google search and there will be a web site full of coupons and dates of shows. Ive been there its great. Not great for a 3 year old tho if you dont have a sitter for the shows. Silver Dollar city was cool but i hear it better since ive been there. Have fun!

Looks like my surgery will be JUNE 1 is all goes well....some people are taking their time faxing my paperwork to the proper places....ugh....but hopefully this all goes well!!!!! YAY me!

Hey at least you admitted it, right!?! Well, i know ive already thought of the consequences of drinking while eating when i get my band and my fiance will be here to pull the glass away from me. You dont have much more to lose, maybe this cold turkey will bring you to your goal! Good luck! You've got my support

Hi Jodie I have knee problems too and they hurt really bad, how do i know when too much is too much. Basically...what are the signs that they could collapse. Curious to know. I need the surgery too because everytime i stand it feels like my knees are breaking.
