So all the stuff you mentioned as a sub doesnt even faze me......im a creature of habbit in good food....but thats ok...im changing today....im going to eat less..and this 50grams of Protein i ate should help me too.... thanks for responding

how many shows have there been already? I know it was on last night and im upset beause i missed it, so i set my tivo to it, i hate starting a show and missing the first couple.....what about that show called Hooking Up or something like that...i watched it last night it was weird!!!

I actually got ADULT TYLENOL at walmart in liquid form. Its pretty good, and u dont have to drink half the bottle like the childrens stuff...lol

I think we are all on at so many different times that its hard to get together to chat. It would be cool if the chat room was used on a regular basis tho!

I have one that was made up from the new start program and it says im a lapband patient and to please allow child portions or smaller portions. It also has a 1-800 number on it just in case i am in a accident and they need more information on the band.

haha...a lot of people dont know i have has surgery and when i eat around them they always have offered me food...when i say no, i say i dont eat that kind of food and they look at me with a blank stare...... i hope i dont become a vegge tho because i would HATE that... So i went to my first fill appointment and the Dr was askin me about my exercise... What exercise? I have been so busy i have not had a chance to even remotely think about exercising..... I have a 1 yr old and i am doing classes online and working part-time.....where do i fit in exercise...? I refuse to walk outside in this 90+ heat....uh uh not me So what do you all do for your exercise? Do you do it everyday the way we are "suppost" to? My fiance said we are gonna start walkin at night...yea right....only thing i wanna do is sleep at night.....the day is just too short...

Ok im getting worried and slightly confused.... I had my bandfilled for the first time on the 7th. 4 cc in a 11cc band. So far today ive done mushier type food and it seems like there is no restriction.....i feel like i could keep eating if i wanted to..i had bacon chedder potatoe wedges and a taco from jack in the box (yea i know its not healthy.....i was in a hurry and thats all that was around that was mushy enough) so anyway.... anyone have any suggestions? Think i need more fill? Grrrrrrr

Why does there have to be like 3-4 fills.....why cant he just put a total of 6cc in at once and then do one unfill if itd too much.....i hate this...i wish i could just get on with my weightloss.....seems im stuck in a spot on the scale.....now granted i dont make the healthiest food choices...but im not over doing it by any means....i automatically order less and put less in my mouth because i know im not suppost to be having much more than that.... This is so frustruating...my dr charges me $50 per fill.....at that rate ill be payinbg$300 before it even works... AND if he has to do my fil under xray like the first time then it costs me $130.....i cant be paying that everytime...im definately not rich....grrrr

I am noticing that my port area is starting to have these random BURNING sensations...it lasts for like a minute and then goes away...i was kinda worried about it and called my Dr...i left a message but recieved no call back. I also noticed it happens when i stand up or sit forward too much, could this be the port pulling away? is this normal to feel?

Welp....ive had water, water, and more WATER!!! All this food sounds so good...but im day 1 of fill so i have liquid diet for now......BORING

I weigh every day or every other day. I am quite obsessive about it...i thought i had lost 5 pounds and when i went to the Dr office their scale said i had only lost 3 pound..... THREE POUNDS.......3 mesely pounds!!!!! ok sorry.....so now ive had my first fill and im excited to see what my progress can be from now on. Im in a 30/32 right now...id love to be a 16/18......ive got a ways to go

Im super excited!!!! I havnt lost or gained anything since my week 2 post op. Now im getting my first fill tomorrow....well my time today....(its 1am right now here) Im nervous and excited all the same I cant wait!!!!! I dont really know what to expect only because i dont want to freak myself out. Weightloss here i come!!!!!

My kid is only one.... But at ONE YEAR OLD she says "UH OH" at just the perfect times.... Like if i put food in my mouth and a piece falls out or i get a crum on my she points and says "uh oh" no one can tell me that isnt funny...lol

Dr. Wagner is an awesome Dr. he did a wonderful job on me. I was told by his office that they have to make sure the surgery went well and the port is in the right spot for him to do the fills. But who knows... Seems in the long run it cost MORE for someone to get it done in Mexico. Fulls cost more because ur not a patient and if something goes wrong then you have to pay to fly over to mexico again. I paid out of pocket here in STL and it was right at 15,800 BUT the fills are $50 each time and if i go in for a check up and dont need a fill then i dont have to pay. From what i hear the trip to mexico plus Dr fees just to get something fixed tends to be outrageous. ALSO......Dr. Wagners office is getting together a loan packet so people can pay a monthly fee. Just some thoughts....

Are you sure your supposed to be eating tuna already? My band date was June 2 and im just allowed to eat it this week. Did you have any aftercare diet?

Seems i fill my days with my daughter and my homework and then im just flat out tired........who the hec wants to excercise like that? I get my first fill July 7 and my fiance says he is gonna crack down on me after that. He really does care about me, he comes and sits in the room if im eating because he is scared i will pb or else hirt my band or something crazy.... So i swear.....after my fill im off to the gym at least 2-3 times a week to start and maybe i can get away from this 25 pound plataue(SP) ive hit.

Your right. I was a foolish one, i was tryin to eat food i wasnt suppost to early on. Some how i made a good excuse to do it. Then someone made a comment about how im goin to cause my band to slip....well duh it had never occurred to me...im an idiot...but now im almost 4 weeks out and what i eat is definately chewed well and i dont take anything that i feel will harm me. I wish i was smarter than this and i could control myself...BUT i think a lot of us are here because for so long we could not control. Our brains are the same and our bodies are slightly altered....the 2 never come and connect so now i must deal with the part of me that thinks the way i do.... This is a very hard thing to do for someone like me who in the back of my mind think "this prolly wont work for "me" anyway" Seems the negative come into play everytime. This is a wonderful post because it is true and it needs to be taken seriously. Thanks

Ok, for you guys this may be too much info for you......so read at your own risk...lol..... So girls............. Time for aunt flo to come into town...lol...and there isnt liquid midol or pamprin or advil.... What can i take? Always been miserable this time of month and now i have no solution. Seems liquid tylenol does nuthin for me. Not strong enough. What can i get? Chasin my daughter around when i feel this miserable is NOT FUN!!! Never had to worry bout pain because usually take pills...but what now? Someone help me please.....i cant be the only female here with this problem.... thanks!

In my opinion...the pain was VERY minimal compared to the c-section i had. It really isnt bad at all. I think the pain i get in my back and knees from being ovrweight was more annoying and painful than the overall surgery!!! Good Luck!

I think im dying!!!! Nuthing is working....this morning i almost threw a remote at my fiance....grrrrr he makes me mad...lol...he asks me questions and annoys me when he knows im squirming in pain......... i cant wait til this is over!!!!!!!!!!!
