It's My Blog I'll Say What i Want To

I think people ask for advice because there is so much information out there and sometimes you just need extra thoughts and different reasons maybe you havent thought of or considered... which is why we see so many questions like which is better the band, sleeve, or bypass? I also think every person is entitled to their own choice and they have to choose whats right for them I personally am getting the bypass for my situation but I don't look down on the banders or sleevers or think any less of them just as I hope they wouldnt look down on me we are only human and we make the best choices we can great post!!! Im happy for you

    What a nightmare !

Im not a bander I am at the first phase of GB but we all need support and after the ordeal that you are going through I couldn't imagine feeling good. We are here for you and wishing you a speedy recovery and what happens next??? Do you have the band replaced or go to a sleeve option or bypass?? I have read about the bands having to be removed before and then other procedures having to occur keep us updated xoxo

    help 4months

what procedure did you have done?
  9. I am also just starting the process and I know how nerve racking it can be. I might be looking at getting the surgery in 6-8 weeks or 6-7 months and I think as much as I want it to happen fast and soon so I can start living a life more time may be just what I need time to figure out what role food has played in my life and what role it will play after surgery. I think the best thing you can do is follow your doctors orders research research research the procedure you feel is best for you and your body, and try to stay positive!!! You will make it thru this

  11. had my initial consult today with my surgeon and felt amazing!!! He said we can have this process done in 6-8 weeks eeeeekkkk thats with me paying 20% if I choose to let my secondary insurance pay the 20% it's going to take an additional 6 months Im a bit torn if waiting is the right decision or staying on the fast track... has anyone else had to make this decision???
