anemia pre surgery

I am severely anemic and had to see a hematologist for 2 months prior to surgery and I am still really anemic like im usually a 6.5 and now im a 10 blood level wise but i did get clearance and they are coming up with a safe plan for during and after surgery -

Your body just went through a major change nothing is normal right now but if your truly concerned call your surgeons office! That's what they are there for CONGRATS!!!!! and good luck keep us updated

I am single as well and severely overweight it's tough at times but luckily I have the full support of my family and I am putting myself out there now to date because if a man doesn't want me at my worse he doesn't deserve me when Im a better version of me! Good luck girl

I have kept my surgical decision to just family and a few friends because I didn't want to have to hear others opinions on my life decisions I mean they aren't paying for it suffering through the pain or working for it we are so who cares!!! I had one uncle explain how much loose skin I would have and maybe I shouldn't have the surgery but I would rather live with loose skin than stay at 421 pounds surgery date hopefully by june -
Im not dating but that's just me I want to focus solely on this journey and my health but I also have only shared my hopeful surgery news with a few people so not even my whole family and friends know just because I wanted to avoid the judgement and odd stories and advice given from people who have never been obese a day in their life. good luck in whatever you choose to do

the ones i have tried were disgusting!!! but after surgery they say your tastes change so Im hoping they will be good then good luck GNC has a buy 2 get one free or buy three get one free on Quest bars one of those kind of deals -

well thanks everyone turns out my personal psychiatrist can write a letter clearing me for surgery so much stress has been lifted from that but still keep me updated with how all your psych evals go!

i personally plan on waiting until after kids! They change your body completely and I would hate to have had all that work done to have my body change on me again but thats just my personal opinion Good luck in whatever you choose and congrats on your weight loss

I would love to do something like this! I haven't gotten my surgery date yet it's still about 6-8 weeks away but if your up for a new friend I am too!

I haven't gotten my surgery yet but I would think just start slow and don't strain you r body to the point of exhaustion. Although we may feel like hulk sometimes we just have to take it easy good luck at the gym!!!

Surgery...before or after move?

it truly is a very personal choice but moving is already a highly stressful thing to do and if you move before surgery thats just putting more stress on your body to me... but if you wait until your moved you can be settled in and less stress than that of surgery and a move. Good Luck
