Today i hade my first fill i hade 3cc put in but didnt feel comfortable swallowing water so hade 1cc taken out felt better so now i have 2cc and i am about 1 month and a half out i lost 27 pounds fill was absolutely pain free berly felt it just a pinch ...... Right now im feeling nausea and feel an upset stomic id like to know if anyone felt like this after a fill???? Water is going down fine and i hade some broth earlier and no problem just the nausea anyone feel like this????

Hello i was reading your thread and i know how u feel i went through a horrible divorce last year after having my 1st child and i hade food as my comfort eating night and day everything i could find thinking of food just imagining what i would eat after i finish eating at 233 lbs i looked and felt horrible not leaving the house ever cuz nothing fit me and all i did was watch Netflix in bed and eat ( not so healthy) so i said how long is this gonna go on where will it lead me i got banded 9 days ago and ever since that and the liquid diet (witch was sooooo hard!!!!!) i lost 20 lbs i still have a long way to go but im hanging in there im not gonna lie its hard theres times you wanna give up i did have thoose many many times just wanted to call it off but i didnt im here i did it and im gonna keep doing it i hade a hard time with recovery gas pain was excruciating for me but I did it u can too u just gotta know its gonna be hard and its gonna take time and its not pleasant but in the end well know its worth it good luck to you i hope god gives u the strength to go through this and i hope u have a good and speedy recovery gbu .

After a long week today I'm feeling much better the gas pain was so much i was regretting my surgery because of that excruciating pain not to sound too dramatic but it hurt So a friend of my fathers who has the lap band recommended some pills for gas and they were amazing took 2 pills and right away felt better . I went in for my post up yesterday it was suppose to be today but since i wasn't feeling good went in a day before i am happy to say I'm 20 lbs down they removed liquid from my band hade about a 1/4 cc they said prob thats why i hade discomfort and did a X-ray they seen that I'm still very swollen and that i am still full of gas overall I'm doing better and hade my first meal today since 3 weeks i was very afraid to eat i ate slow and got satisfied fast so i guess I'm doing good thank God.

I been experiencing this feeling for the past few hours now about 4/5 hours maybe. i feel very very bloated like my stomic will explode and this pressure its horrible cant sleep don't know what to do i called the doc on call and he said to come in tomorrow I'm not doing good this upset stomic makes me regret this surgery i just wish i felt better :...( Any one know what this is has anyone felt this Before ?

Gotta say thanks to everyone for the support really helped its been a real up and down with me these past 4 days right now im doing much better thank God . Switching to liquid Tylenol was the best thing i ever did couldn't take anymore of the narcotics way too strong. I still have gas pain in my stomic and in my chest does anyone els have it there too i see most ppl complain about it in the neck and shoulders and how long does it last when will it go away i know everyone is diferent but just to get an idea ?

Im not feeling to well thinking omg what have i done im in pain not so much to take pain medication its way too strong i took it the first 2 days i get nocked out when i drink it so im laying off it but i have nausea and just not feeling to well will i ever feel normal its been 3 days since my surgery but im not good with pain People that have been banded for a while do you feel normal ?

Its ok dont think about it no more dont punish yourself get right back up u can do this we all fall at some point but its ok we can get right back up wishing u the best good luck

Im 2 days out of my surgery and im Supposed to be drinking clear liquids and jello and Popsicles Broth ex... But i cant all im taking is water and tea is that ok i feel fine just not hungry no appetite or cravings at all ?

I feel a verry sharp pain is that normal ?

I have a question just hade surgery yesterday did anyone after surgery have pian on where there is port is i didnt ask what side its on im haveing pain on my left side and i can feel a bump is that it ? Do they put it on either side ?

I did it i hade my operation today about 11:00 am I was so nervous and scared i prayed and it helped until the anesthesiologist came and said there ready by the time he gave me the shot in my iv i was getting weaker got to a big room and they told me to get on another bed and thats all i remember then i woke up hade some pain in my upper abdomen kinda like heart burn like pressure only stronger they gave me medicine for pain twice and it got better i hade no gas pain overall its not that bad like i expected im so glad is over and im proud of myself i lost a total of 18 lbs on the pre op so that made me more exited and i havent hade anything but water cuz im not hungry and dont feel like taking anything my mouth is verry dry though but overall im ok thank god everything went great
