This is so great to have so many of us going on the journey together. I tried doing the pm on my iPhone but for some reason it did not work.. Still trying to figure out this site.. I have tried the computer and the site looks totally different to me.. I think I need to start a list of all you girls so I know who to keep in touch with. ONce I figure it out .. I will also pm all with my cell phone and email as I think that may be easier to keep in touch with the "sleeve quintuplets.. "lol I will be in touch soon. Need to get back to work.. lol

I agree.. Not sure what you do.. but I am a special education teacher.. So the work is only piling up.. I have progress report due on Friday. and I need to get them done.. I keep reminding myself. it will all come together.. just continue to believe! and I will achieve all I am working for!

HELLO Everyone.. I am sure all our emotions together could fuel a car.. I am so excited.. but I am also overwhelmed with all I want to get done prior to the big day.. I know it will get done.. but my mind is going crazy .. I hope liquids are going well. One day closer. !

My pre/ post op diet is milk with protein .... Pudding , strained soup, and yogurt... ... And i can gave cream of wheat in am ... Really nit too bad

I guess we will have a three weeks of this ... Lol ... My husbands bern calling it nesting .... I joke yeah .. Giving birth to part of my stomach ... I m on this mission to get my house picked up and all things in order at my work ...... Really signing off for night talk with u all soon ...

Ill see if i can find that chike stuff ... I have been trying to get to sleep for an hour but i keep getting back on here lol

I agrree ive done the pre op diet 3 times for a week to get my 10 lbs off i needed to... I found after i was fuller sooner as well . I even thought ... Wow do i even need the surgery ... My mind trying to take over ... Im listening to the professionals now ... Lol my mind got me to this weight ...

Hi ladies ... I believe its just old habits ... I needed to loose ten pounds and the first month i gained ... My nutrionist told me to try a protein shake and a meal replacement ... This worked a little and then i tried the preop diet a week ... I lost the weight felt good and was able to re focus ... U can do it ! Believe and u will achieve!

But my husband wont truly understand ... Hes been 180 lbs since the day i met him 18 years ago .... Trys to understand but will never truly get iit ... Glad there are supports like thiscto connecy

"Nurse" are u doing a pre op diet? I will definetly keep in touch ... I know support is going to help me achieve my goals .. I have a supportive family

I agree i used to think these type of surgeries were cheating ...my dr suggested it and i promised him id go to an information meeting and amazingly here i am ... Full of excitement and some nervousness ... But i will be too busy getting ready ... So that for three weeks i come first ... My husband and kids are on board ... I am very thankful and this site has been great

I have heard from many people first week is toughest and then they are ready to go. I took 3 weeks off so I can give myself time to adjust to my new life style.. I love the tickers.. How so i get one?

Hi everyone ... I just had to share i got a call that my surgery date is april14 officially!! All i have left id my pre op at the hospital! Im so excited !!! I am amazed from all your post how differently all the places due things.. But we all have the sane mission to help us get to a healthy weight and live the life we want to live.. Its so great to read everyone's comments. I have found through my research just what you all said. Only regret not having it sooner. I have done all the items on my checklist and am good to go in April. Cannot wait. I am buckled up and ready to go. great luck to all of you ...

I met with surgeon today and it is official I am good to be sleeved.. Sounds like April is going to be a great month for us all.. !

Hi everyone i had my the with the nurse today and see surgeon tomorrow ... I am good to go and so excited... Im looking at a date of 4-14-14.... I know a couple if u share the same date! Pre op diet ive been doing ... For the most part... Getting used to it and its not that bad .... Good luck everyone our month is coming!!!

Thats fabulous... U must be so excited! Are u able to do all previous activity? What was the hardest part? ... Any words of wisdom... I get my date next week on my birthday ... I m feeling its the best gift..
