I would say 3 days is too soon .. U need to be sure You feel ok ... Galbladder.. I take a medication to help prevent galstones for 6 months after surgery .. Drinks .. Just had my first one last week .. Im 7 weeks post op... Hope this helps ...

Lots of great ideas thanks.. I am planning on making a chicken chili.. And finally having eggs for Breakfast.. I have been on the liquid diet for 5 weeks and so ready to add these new foods:)

HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL. I CANNOT BELIEVE OUR DAY HAS COME AND GONE. I AM FEELING GREAT! I AM NOT FEELING ANY HUNGER EITHER. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THAT. I MET WITH MY NUT YESTERDAY AND SHE TOLD ME TO GET IN MORE PROTIEN. TRYING, BUT I FIND IT TOUGH.. YOU ALL IN THE SAME BOAT? Anyone come up with good ways to get Protein in ?

Awsome idea to have photos down ... U look great ... How long did it take to loose the 100 .. That is my goal ... I am almost 2 weeks post op. Never thought id say im not hungry. Please share any tips !

Well i had my sleeve today ! Feeling pretty good considering ! Hope everyone else is that went today.. Dr said text book operation .. Now im hoping for text book recovery! Talk with ya all soon

I cant wait to start this new chapter.. I wish us all the best ... Ill be sure to post when i'm up for it. I have to be at the hospital in 23 hours ... ????...

Hope u are all hanging in there ... Tomorrow night is my first event out .since the preop diet. A friends party at a favorite resteraunt ... Ii am planning on Water and Soup ... A very cheap date ... Lol ... I just completed day 11... For many of us tomorrows the last day of work ... Enjoy as when u go back youll be on a new and exciting journey... Keep going!! Did any of u get asked to by hibiclens to wash with prior to surgery?

We all have our own journey and do what you feel comfortable with. When i decided tp do this i wasn't telling anyone. Now that its getting closer I've been telling a few people because they ask why im taking 3 weeks off. With each person it has gotten easier for me. I say go with how u feel.. U have worked hard and if u want to share your success... Go for it.. Its nothing to be ashamed of .. People get venerea boob jobs tummy tucks... U got a stomach tuck!

Can u all believe it ? 10 days left... I could scream cry and go a little crazy all at the same time .. I hope u r all doing well .. I think many of us are busy preparing. Ive done day 6 of my preop and thank god it has not been too difficult. I have also lost 5 lbs so that is awsome... How is everyone else doing?

Do u think maybe hes having this attitude because hes scared for you? There was a lady at on of my meetings that shared her husband was un supportive but she did it anyway .. Once she had surgery and she was ok and feeling good he came around ... Now hes thrilled with her new attitude and body ...maybe this could be the same for u??? I wish u luck .. I am sure with all going through your head it really sucks to hear the negative... Theres so much support here ... Only u know whats right for u !

It could be nerves and old habits too. My program had me loose 10 lbs before I could even see the surgeon and I am supposed to keep it off .. plus more.. ahhh. My first two months of meetings I can remember getting weighed and the NUT said.. Honey you are going the wrong way.. I had gained 10 instead of loose 10. That's when she told me to supplement a meal with a Protein shake. You can do it! Keep positive and ask for help. Theres lots of us here for you!

Green Eyed Girl You can do it.. Congrats for quitting.. its tuff .. been there done that.. but instead of smoking. u will have a smoking body! lol Everyone else.. Yikes.. Its coming so quick.. Reality is truly setting in.. The NUT called to remind me that I start preop Mon. although I am starting Sunday.. and I got the call that insurance approval came in.. So this is really happening.. So glad I have all you to go trough this with!

Thanks.. I thought NUT was nutrionist, but not being shure I figured I would double check.. Thanks for all your ideas and sharing.. don't know about you all.. but its coming fast . I cant believe how close it is coming..

I like the idea of an inspiration board.. I might just make one .. My husband wants mevto do video a message to me for me ... Any of u do such a thing?

Im still amazed at all the differences in pre op diets .. Im doing whats called phase II diet.. Its 2 protein shakes yogurt pudding and soup broth ... 1/4 cup of cream of wheat for breakfast ... I know it helps shrink the liver .. My surgeon showed pics .. Very cool ... No more than 1/2 cup per serving per meal ... Hope u r all doing well .. We can do it!!

I hope everyones well i am overwhelmed with how quickly this is coming up .. The pre op diet is going well ... Im about 80 %following it now .. 100% by sunday ... I think we are all glad to have each other ... Can someone tell me what the nut stands for though? Haven't figured that out yet .. One of u had a list for the hospital... I was told sneakers for walking .. Im gonna be a walking maniac soon ... Going to get some protein this weekend ...chikes i heard is good any other suggestions?
