Read and stay connected here and ask ask ask the NUT and your surgeon every question you have. Write down the questions and the answers in a notebook. I also started going to three different hospital WLS support group meetings within fifty miles of my home. They each only met once a month and I needed more info and connection than that. Good luck!

Breathe. Then call your NUT and ask for specifics. Stock your house with delicious cream soups and liquids you are allowed. Clean the house. You won't want to deal with vacuuming post op. Take the time to write your post op self a letter now. Open it in a year. Write all the feelings you're having and why you're doing this. Write down every thing you want to do once you lose weight that you aren't able to do now. Most of all be be gentle with yourself. You've worked hard to get here and you deserve all the happiness that is coming your way. Stay connected here. Good luck!!!!

Lap Band Post Op Day 8
JustWatchMe replied to Babylvrrn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Local restaurants here mostly. But I love love love Mariano's lobster bisque. I also often had tomato basil and cream of anything. My daughter taught me that adding pepper flakes to tomato soup gives it a really nice kick and is very satisfying. -
Lap Band Post Op Day 8
JustWatchMe replied to Babylvrrn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hang in there. It gets easier. I had six weeks of full liquids after LapBand. I just found the best soups money could buy. Lost 50 pounds before my first fill at six weeks post op. You can do it! -
4 oz prune juice. Works every time.

After three years if this just started, I'd worry about band slippage. What if you tried a week of back to basics? Only eat the foods that definitely worked for you when you first went on solids. Have they used fluoro to see if anything is amiss? Good luck.

I'm sorry, Julie. Hard time of year missing loved ones.

Yes this is a very stressful time of year. I completely spaced out and forgot to get 19 gifts for the office people. Nothing big, just little token gifts, but I get something cute/funny each year. I have two days to get and label them now. Agh!

Starting 5:2 and no scale this week
JustWatchMe replied to JustWatchMe's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Down to exactly 200 today. Not getting my Onederland back without a struggle, I guess. I didn't get stuck once this week which was good. I've been relying on Buddig meat for breakfast with a cheese stick and chewing it really well. My fasting days were 500 calories spread over the whole day instead of one meal and it helped me not get overly hungry and food-centric. I'll do that again this week. I tried yoga this week twice, at a place offering a free week of classes. It was nice, but if I keep going I'll have to find a cheaper place. I did buy a yoga mat and I got a pair of yoga pants at Goodwill for a couple of bucks. What I didn't do this week was any cardio anything. Not even brisk walking. I'll take a walk now with the dog. As expected, my weight loss is getting harder the farther I go down. I sure resist exercise. It's time for me to look into joining the Y or something affordable that will get me on an exercise schedule. All of you WLS successful people keep telling me it's the exercise that does it. At some point I need to just follow directions. (That's my own motto, right?) Most folks have dropped off this thread. Not sure where @@2muchfun has been. Hope all is well. Anyway, it's a new week and a new day and I'm still here and plugging along. Happy Sunday everyone. -
I was right! Cinderella!! You look beautiful and happy!

I was looking at the label in my slacks today. Size 0x Petite. Only in America can a 202 pound person be a size zero. A PETITE size zero. My chuckle of the day.
