Anyone weigh 302? Here is what's in store for you!
JustWatchMe posted a topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Ten months ago I weighed 302. Yes, 302. I was so blue. My life was small and getting worse. Obesity was my lifelong curse. I had a dream. A dream to live. It asked for all my strength to give. I mustered strength and all my will. Every requirement I would fill. I got my LapBand and then began My new life of not "can't", but "can". I can, I said, and walked a mile. You've never seen a bigger smile. I can, I said, and rode a horse. "The hour trail?" I said, "Of course!" A trip to Italy, climbing hills. My new endurance gave me chills. A bubble bath is a luxury that once was for everyone else but me. An airplane ride with a regular belt. I can't describe how good that felt. The movie seats used to squish my hips. Now the room I have brings a grin to my lips. My larger clothes become someone's prize as I donate them for a smaller size. My dozen meds have gone away. One pill and a Vitamin today. Arthritis pain controlled me so. I am so glad to see that go. A hundred pounds have waved goodbye. There really is no better high. Fifty more to get to goal. Not stopping now. I'm on a roll! So if you're starting out, don't fear. This all can be in your new year! Have faith, believe, work hard, and give Yourself the best of gifts -- to LIVE! -

Welcome to Bandland! Each day should be a little better than the last. Karate chops to the neck and shoulders helps that gas pain. Walking helps too. Take the meds but drink four oz of prune juice to prevent constipation. Good luck!! -

Search for powder room gone wild and powder room ladies gone wild. I follow both. I don't know how to get the link on this app, or even how to tell which forum it falls under.

Saturday just over 2000 calories and Sunday just over 3000 (damn movie popcorn) and no exercise either day. Monday 1167 calories and 24 flights of stairs at work. Back on track. I knew the weekend was going to be loose but that movie popcorn is deadly. I don't know why I can't make myself give it up. It's definitely a comfort food.

I've been climbing stairs at work for the last week or two. As a conscious exercise. I'm up to three rounds a day now that total 24 flights of stairs. Twelve up and twelve down. I'm stunned. It's getting easier and it's a lovely five or six minute break from my desk three times a day. I'm so happy not to be huffing and puffing anymore.

My tolerance for a$$#0/3$ went down in direct proportion to my daily caloric intake.

Why You Lose Hair After Surgery

Oh yeah. And my pending divorce. Oh yeah. And no sleep for the months before I left him. Hmmm. -
May the storm be lighter than they expect and over sooner.

Why You Lose Hair After Surgery
JustWatchMe replied to Inner Surfer Girl's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I just had a non WLS procedure under anesthesia last week. I asked the anesthesiologist if going under creates hair loss later. He said he had never heard of that but typically never hears from his patients months after their surgeries. He said physical stress in general can cause hair loss and surgery itself is a big stressor. My hair just started growing back after my March WLS and I was scared I would lose it again and it might not grow back a second time. My mom lost her hair twice to methotrexate and it never came back the second time. I did not believe my WLS hair loss was due to Protein deficiency or losing weight too quickly. I was sure the surgery itself was the culprit. I still think so, but maybe not the anesthesia per se. -
Has anyone had their FitBit One stop syncing to their iPhone? I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turned my phone off and on, and it just keeps "looking" but doesn't find the FitBit.
