I'm a 37 year old mother of two with a honest desire to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and minus a few extra pounds. You see I have always been just a few pounds more than slim but always just below overweight according to medical charts growing up. This is why no one ever paid me any attention to any concerns that I had about my weight growing up. My lowest adult weight was 163lbs and my height is 5 feet 10 inches so I would wear clothes size 8 -12 depending on the brand.
On my first pregnancy I gained 60lbs!!!! But my healthy baby only weighed 5lbs 4 ozs. I submitted myself into unhealthy diets and lost it yippee. I became pregnant again and gained much more, another healthy baby came and poor eating choices and lots of unflattering clothes.
Call almost any diet I have tried it all from shakes to HCG shots. But I always gain a lot more when the buzz wears off. I have reached a stage in my life where I have done a lot of reflection and I have taken a lot of time to change a lot of my bad habits in my life. I slowly but surely eliminated sugar and flour products from my diet. I have also "x" out oils (fried foods). I started to go out by myself instead of with groups to places such as movies and not giving into buying popcorn and opt for a bottled water instead. Now after conquering these head hunger issues I can now say I'm ready to make a step to regain my life again.
