Hi! My name is Kim and I had the sleeve surgery on February 13, 2014. I'm 48 and throughout the last 3weeks I've realized that I'm not a spring chicken anymore! Ha ha! The recouperation has taken more time than I thought it would. Ive had hernia repair shoulder pain, regular healing pain, and then the nausea hit me on week two. It was awful until I got nausea meds! I could not tolerate anything, not even water! Much better now, though. I've lost 39 pounds since the beginning of the two week diet before surgery. That's 22 pounds since surgery when I weighed at the doc last Wednesday. This site has helped me see that everyone has challenges to overcome and good ideas to share with us all. I know it's sure helped me feel much better! I have a long way to go to get health and any help is greatly appreciated!!
