Exactly - This new fill person is going to be trained by Dr. Colburn. This person is a doctor himself and the husband of a banded patient. I'm not sure how it's all going to work though and I really can't say any more. I've probably already said too much.He is very kind person and may be willing to help others in difficult fill situations. Time will tell.

Hi there, I live in Saint John NB and am being banded by Dr. Coburn on Nov 2nd. I also know a few others locally who are banded. There will be a very competant person doing fills here in Saint John in the near future but for now everyone is going to Pictou and she is apparently very good. You could drive to Digby and take the ferry to Saint John (walk on is way cheaper) - and go directly to this new persons office when he is set up, which should be soon. Let me know and I'd be happy to help you make arrangements!

Kims I am in the EXACT same spot as you are! I faxed my application in yesterday and today am thinking --- gee, I should just try it on my own one more time. the diet and exercising, maybe join WW this time... Will/can I for once hang on to a healthy lifestye for longer than two weeks or even two months on my own?? Unfortunately, I think I know the answer already, but this is such a huge decision. Let me know what you decide!

hi there, I've been lurking around here for a while and have finally decided to say hello Everyone seems so friendly on here! I've also decided to go ahead with Lap Banding, kind of scared but excited too. Now comes trying to decide where to have it done. Argo, if you read this, and I know you are in NB, where did you have it done? Is there anyone else out there from NB with some advice? I'm leaning towards having it done in Ontario to be on the safe side, but I know there are other options as I am close to the Maine border. Any advice would be helpful. Would love to connect with other locals. ~T
