Finally starting to see a difference in my appearance. I have been able to tell in my clothes, but just now looking at pictures, I can see it. Does it seem surreal to anyone else? Like maybe, despite all the hard work, diet and exercise, the weight's going to come back? I wonder if I only feel this way because I yo-yo'd for so long. Sometimes I look at the larger pic and can't believe I let it get that bad. :/

I'm at a point right now where I hate food. I am really hungry, and I get headaches if I don't eat. But nothing tastes good. Nothing sounds good. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm down 38lbs and just had my 6 week checkup yesterday. Dr said most of my issues are due to the fact I can't stand food. I need to eat, but I can't seem to stand anything but protein shakes. :/ Anyone else have this problem?

Five weeks post op and I've had my first "overeating" experience. It was HORRIBLE. It happened last night and lasted almost 2 hours. I dry heaved, could barely breathe and alternated between sweats and chills! Now, I'm terrified to eat. The very thought of food makes me feel sick. I can still feel the soreness in my rib cage where my breaths felt like stabs. That will NEVER happen again. If I have to eat two bites every 30 minutes for the rest of my life so be it! I can't imagine what would happen from breaking my diet or eating the wrong foods!!

I've started vomiting my night shake. Anyone else have this issue? I have switched brands, etc...I'm also at my max Zofran dosage. I don't know where this is coming from!!

I've started throwing up after my evening shakes. Anyone else have this issue? I don't know why it's ONLY the evening that's so hard on me! I'm taking my max Zofran dosage and nothing is helping!! -
Same issue here. I've lost nothing in almost a week. I lost tons the first week and no nothing at all. Super frustrating. Not to mention I suddenly have tons of nausea and stomach pains.

anyone else have issues with their weight loss stopping with their menstrual cycles?

anyone experience sharp stretching pains in the abdomen? They're not near any incision, nor are they constant. Just comes and goes...

I have an itchy belly too. I've used ice packs when it's really bad since we can't put anything on it. I've had no issues with liquids other than I'm really thirsty so it's hard not to gulp. I'm getting my 64 oz easily. Just still really thirsty.

Well, it does indeed get better! I had some serious buyers remorse after surgery for several days. Now I'm 9 days out, 24 lbs lighter, and woke up feeling pretty good. Still a little sore, but nothing I can't handle. I am trying to remind myself I need to still take it easy, but I'm excited to be feeling this good finally.

I was March 6 too. Frustrated at how slow the recovery is. I have two small children and a husband who deployed with only 8 days notice while I was still in the hospital. How many more days til I can bend over? UGH

I had my surgery last Thursday and I'm experiencing occasionally a VERY sharp pain on the left side of my stomach, right under my rib cage. I don't have it all the time, or even often, but when it happens, it takes my breath away. Every time it has happened, it's been after hours, and has gone away so I haven't told my Doctor. SHould I be concerned enough to call his emergency number? Has anyone else experienced this? Is it gas?

For those who are home post surgery- where did you settle once home? Did you sleep in bed or in a recliner? Looking for the most comfortable, easiest option.

We were told with those symptoms to go see your doctor. Sorry for your pain.

Just got home from the hospital and I'm MISERABLE. SORE, can't get comfortable, and the gas doesn't seem to be dissipating. I know this won't last forever, but I feel like I have serious buyers remorse here. I wanted this so badly, but I feel so horrible.

My surgery is in two days. I'm a little nervous, but trying to stay positive. I've convinced myself something is going to go wrong. I'm a worrier like that. Good to see so many people in the same boat though!
