I totally hate protein shakes too. I don't drink them at all now but I do eat a protein bar once a day and I get most of my protein from my meals. Once you are able to eat regular food try to get at least 15 grams of protein per meal. I also have reduced fat string cheese which is a great source of protein. Food Lion also have protein packs in the luncheon section. Only 190 calories and 15 awesome grams of protein.
