[size=4][font=georgia]My name is Jennifer and I am from Northern New Jersey. I had gastric sleeve surgery on February 19th, 2014. It was honestly a long time coming. I have been obese since I was a child. I lost a significant amount of weight (60) pounds in the beginning of high school by cutting carbs completely. All of the weight and more came back by college. Sophomore year of college I went on Atkins and lost 80 pounds. I wound up gaining that back within two years and was at my heaviest of around 330. [/font][/size]

[size=4][font=georgia]I decided on weight loss surgery when one of my doctors said my reproductive health was in jeopardy with the amount of cysts on my ovaries and PCOS. My weight played a big part in the growth of cysts. I also wanted to feel healthy, more attractive, and I think struggling with the seat belt on a plane to see my mother was a real (embarrassing) eye opener. [/font][/size]
