Hello.... You may call me granny. I am 67 years old. I had a plication and lap band procedure. I went to Tijuana for my surgery. Dr.Lopez Corvalas is one of the few surgeons that does both procedures together. He teaches in the USA,Canada, and Internationally. My experience was wonderful. All the Drs. and staff were so nice. The hosp. was beautiful and immaculate. The female staff were dressed in starched white uniform "dresses" and not a hair out of place. The males all wore Burghandy uniforms. I was treated like royalty . When I came home to the Us, I tried to find a bariatric surgeon to do my fills. I ran into one brick wall and then another. They said that having both procedures done @ the same time was not in their hosp. policies, therefore could not do the fills for me. Some were so brazen as to tell me to go back to Mexico where I had the surgery done. I am orig. from Texas and went two weeks ago to visit my children and found a bariatric surgeon that was willing to do my fills and did so. I go home often , so this works out great. I had my surgery Febr. 5th, 2014. I have lost 16 pounds which is not much @ all and I am so disappointed. They say one should eat a couple of tablespoons of food three times a day. I can drink a 12 ounce protein drink easily, or a 1/2 cup of soup and never feel uncomfortable. I am scared silly that I will fail in my journey to lose the weight. Would someone be so kind as to share a daily menu of theirs with me so I can get an idea of whether or not I am on the right path. Thank you so much. I feel wonderful. Granny
