  1. WOW, just got back from Konga (boxercise type class) and I swear the jiggle of my bottom nearly knocked me over. I hope this exercise reduces the jiggles a little bit. I am at ten months and I dont have alot of extra skin but enough to wobble. Does exercise make a small impact?? Love to hear from anyone.

Hi Everyone, how is everyone's losing going now? I still feel that I have a ways to go. I have slowed right down, I am lucky if I loose a half a kilo in a fortnight. I am getting about 900cal a day, is that too much? I walk three times a week, training once a week and konga (weights and burn) once a week. Just wondering what people are doing to kick start the weightloss once it has slowed. I am in a 16 and have been for two months now, would love to drop that one more dress size before January. Thanks, and you are all doing super!
  3. You are such an inspiration. Well done.

  5. thanks for sharing everyone. I was about 279 pound and am now about 189 pounds. Sleeved on the18th March 2013.
  6. Hi to all my aussie friends, I am 6 months there abouts after surgery. I have just turned 41 and am noticing that my previously wrinkle free face is getting MANY lines. I am rather distressed about this, is it just that my fat was hiding my wrinkles or is it from dehydration or some other reason. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am just past 5 months now and have lost 31kilos (38 pounds) since surgery, 36 kilos, (79 pounds) since my highest just two weeks before surgery. Some days I feel that my stomach is more tolerant than others. My issues are mainly constipation (yukky topic sorry) and I blame this on my water intake being too low. It has as long as I remember been very hard for me to get the recommended amount of water in, especially in winter. It is warming up now so hopefully I will improve. I havent been exercising so much this last week but have had a good weight loss. There is no rhyme or reason sometimes so I ALWAYS try to eat right and I ALWAYS try and get at least an hour of exercise in at least 3 times a week because this is better for my health. It has always been my goal to conquer the health issues I had from obesity but it is not enough to just conquer those problems, I wont to avoid further health problems by finally treating my body with respect. i want to take the time to thank every one on this thread for sharing their experiences because even if I don't comment, I read them every day and they lift me, educate me and give me drive. Well done everyone! Chelle

I have lost 55lb since surgery at the 4 month mark and I am thrilled. It equals a bit more with my pre-surgery loss and I like to look at the total so I can measure ALL that I have acheived. We are all on the path to happier and healthier no longer how long it takes us. Well done everyone!!

When you drop food it lands on the floor not your tummy!
  14. Hi Steel, You have done awesome and I can not wait to be at the place you are. I have a question regarding your sleep apnea as mine was quite dangerous and has already improved, I am 4 months post sleeve and no longer have events with my machine on. How did you know it was gone?? Did you get retested or did you just know that you could sleep without an aid? I am most excited about this prospect. Well done.
  15. You are such an inspiration ! Thank you for sharing you look like a supermodel.
