Anybody else tired of the attention?

@@blondiebabs I've lost 48 pounds. I should just write it on a dry erase board and keep it where all my clients to see. -

I was sleeved on March 13th. My surgery went well and my recover about 95% was great, I had a reaction to the glue my doc used to Close me up. They said it was normal, it hurt like hell to get up and down, painful and burning sensations. But do I regret my decision? Absolutely not, no pain no gain. We risked our lives doing this surgery to make ourselves healthier and we can do more things now. Keep your head up, when things get tough..you can't just give up. This is a hard situation to be in but trust me, a month post op..you'll love every minute of your 'new' life. You can do this.

Anybody else tired of the attention?

I understand where you're coming from. I'm a hair stylist and I see lots of people!! Some people I've told but I haven't told many because you never know how people may react to having WLS. Some of my clients who have known me for a while still bring it up every time I see them, which is nice and everything but I had the surgery...I appreciate your support but I don't want the CONSTANT reminder that I had it done. Let's move on and live our lives. Some of you may feel differently about keeping it secret or not wanting a reminder you had it done.. I don't like when people ask me 'how much have you lost?' I know they are there for support and they are proud but I personally think it's rude for clients or people in general to ask that, it's another thing if it's your best friends or a family member. Just always remember to keep your head up and know you did it for yourself and yourself only, not everyone needs to know every single detail about your new life. -

Favorite multi-vit post op? please share!

There's a website called Bariatric fusion. It has all sorts of vitamins on it, the site is specifically for people who had the bypass, sleeve and lap band. I take the Mixed Berry flavor complete chewable vitamin and mineral supplement. And I take chewable iron. Research it, I've really enjoyed these vitamins and you only have to take three of the vitamins three times a day AND they taste good! Good luck! -

You need to be very careful. My surgeon told me that since there's a rapid weight loss, you become VERY fertile. So make sure you have a steady and dependable birth control if your libido and your lover get a little crazy

What happens to the girls ?
KBlood replied to Mandyb2006's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
No ma'am. I'm only two weeks post op. Haven't gotten the okay yet to work out. I guess it depends on the size from beginning to end and how fast the weight comes off, everyone is different. -
I'm finally off just liquids and have moved up to eating things like eggs, mashed potatoes etc. I'm supposed to eat between 6-8 ounces per meal...I'm completely full before I even eat one scrambled egg. Any tips? Does this come with time?

I keep reading about all of these woman talk about their boob sizes. I know they will get smaller in size but are you ladies working out and working out those pectoral muscles? -
Thank you guys so much for your feedback. Helps out a ton!

How bad were yours? I have six incisions and they are all irritated. I wake up in the middle of the night itching and not knowing it ????
-
Did anyone's surgeon use Durabond to close their incisions? Anyone having a reaction like severe itching, red irritation Round incision?
-
You can not drink them if you want to be flabby and deficient. If you are not going to drink protein shakes, you will need to drink protein drinks and such. Protein saves your muscles while you lose weight rapidly. I bought the Nector Chocolate protein shake mix and it's awesome! You should definitely try it, doesn't taste so fake i guess. Try researching other ways you can go about drinking your 40-60 grams a day of protein. Ask your nutritionist.

When am I supposed to start taking my chewable vitamins? When I start eating?

I can definitely take a full shower..washing hair and everything. My incisions are glued so I could take a shower. You'll be able to take one soon and you will love every second of it and won't want to get out haha! I'm definitely cold. I'm super cold after naps and just throughout the day I get freezing. You're not the only one might be from the oxy
