    The Honeymoon is O.V.E.R.

I'm right there too. I've been at the same weight for the last 4 months. I have changed up my diet and am now training for a triathlon. If this doesn't kick start something, at least I'll be in great shape. I am 30-40lb from my goal and it has been tough but if I'm being honest, I didn't have to work for the last 70lbs so I guess this is my pay back ????????????????????

    Does everyone experience hairloss?

I started losing tons of hair 4 months in. I took my Biotin & vitamins religiously. I don't know what it is that causes it but it sucks bad & scares the crap out of you. The good news is it does stop and it does grow back. Mine went on for about a month and some change and boy am I glad it stopped. I started taking the It Works vitamins and that seem to have helped. I see lots of new growth so I'm hoping the worst is over. Hope that helps

    Salad?

It took me 5 months before I could eat Salad without it acting like a diarrhetic. I was so happy to have it back in my life

    Plastic surgery in mexico?

    What was the cost ?
  5. I ate a slider and 2 fries and it felt like I ate 2 double doubles from in and out. My little friend was in town and was really craving a burger. I eat really well and exercise regularly so I'm not going to stress about a craving here and there, especially since I don't have them very often.

    8 weeks out!

I'm happy to say I'm 8 weeks out and down 35lb. I'm finally at a point where my co- workers who see me daily are noticing. Yesterday I wore a brand new dress ( size 18- down from 22) and EVERYONE had something to say. All good of course. It's amazing what wearing cloths in the right size instead of your old baggies can do I'm so excited for this journey! I wish I would have done it sooner!
  7. My go to meals are tuna salad w/ cottage for lunch, Protein shake for bfast & lunch meat, cottage cheese tacos. I personally loved all these things before my sleeve so now it's even easier. When I crave hot food ( not often cause I was always a salad girl) I order a taco and eat the inside only with a side of Beans. Meatballs are great too. I will even heat up lunch meat with a slice of cheese & it's like a melt without the bread. I also have eggs at all times of the day now. Good luck!

    Back to work :-(

Can you have a Water bottle around- that helps me get my fluids in. I find without my water bottle , I don't get my fluids in as easily. I got this one at Target for $7 , it's about 32oz. I have at least 2 a day, it's way easier than drinking from a glass.

    Back to work :-(

I'm 6 weeks out and it seems like a million years ago since I was back to work for the first time. Trust me when I say that people aren't watching your every move, like it feels they are. I just told people I was doing a cleanse and hitting the reset button, that's why I was off coffee and having shakes. I got nothing but encouraging words. Now that I'm down 30lb and 6 weeks out, everyone just thinks it's because I've been dieting and watching what I eat ( which is the truth) EVERYBODY WINS! Plus now is a great time because everyone is trying to get in shape for summer and so are you Good luck!

7 weeks post op - success and struggles

I am 4 weeks out & I stick to tuna salad with cottage cheese for lunch & a shake for Breakfast. I tend to do scrambler eggs & Beans for dinner & the only carbs I've had that didn't give me trouble was whole wheat crackers & polenta. I don't have either often but when I crave a crunch, soft wheat crackers are as far as I will go right now. Bread & tortillas still scare me Good luck!
  11. Sky Diving is big on the list! Feeling HOT again. Going for a ride on my bf's motorcycle - without being embarrassed. Breaking out of Moo Moo jail and wearing leggings because I want to, not because I have to. Wearing heels that aren't wedges. I could go on but I will just wait patiently and let it all happen. Only 2 weeks post op but I can already see changes
  12. I'm glad to hear that this might be normal. Food of course is not the same story but at least I can get my liquids in with ease
  13. Hi Everyone, I have been able to drink at a pretty fast rate lately. At first it would take me hours to drink a 20oz bottle of H2o and now it's more like 20 min. I'm still on liquids 12days post op. I have experimented with soft foods and not the same luck with those. I'm just nervous that maybe I shouldn't be drinking so much or so fast. I wish the Protein shakes were as easy. Anyone else going through this?

    Jump start to liquids?

What about exercise? You may not be getting enough calories in. If you are exercising, switch up your routine. Don't get discouraged. You can do it!
  15. I had to experience my first buffet only 6 days post op. The good news was, it was at the hotel that my boyfriend is the Executive Chef of. We also sat on the terrace far away from all the food. He was kind enough to have yummy broth and runny oatmeal made for me. We had so many plates on the table that I didn't look out of place. I'm surprised how well it went I also still don't have much of an appetite, so temptation wasn't an issue. I think once I'm on solid foods, that story may change Happy Easter!
