I'm in West Chester and am looking for fellow bandsters! SJ

Hi everybody, I'd love to join this group. I was just banded on 3/3 by Ortiz in TJ, I'm actually still down here, leaving for the airport this morning. I live in Chester County and would love to get to know local band sisters, also am trying to figure out the fill situation, I really don't want to travel to TJ again...it is a long flight! SJ

I was banded in MX and am going to NYU for a fill next week. Fielding, Ren and Kurian take patients banded elsewhere. SJ

Well this is weird...I just called the number for Dr Barder at Lancaster and he actually answered the phone. He pretty much laughed when I said I was trying to find a fill doctor since I had surgery with Dr Ortiz, I didn't even say Mexico. He said no we won't do that and you'll have a hard time finding anybody that will. So I'll be heading up to see Dr Ren! There is money to be made here!!! I would love to have a fleet of traveling floro/fill centers!! SJ

So...Sweet Pea, you were banded on Monday and will be on 3 bottles of boost for 16 days...check back in with us in two weeks and let us know if you are still preaching. SJ

Hi Kate, Wow you are in my backyard (West Chester!) I actually had surgery last week with Dr Ortiz in Tijuana. I was self pay so researched for about a year and decided to head to Mexico. I'm a bit concerned about fills and being followed since it is about a 6 hours flight to San Diego. I had originally planned on going to fill center in NJ, but am wavering towards going to Dr Ren for follow up and fills as she takes Mexico patients. I've heard she is great so it is wonderful to meet someone who is a patient of hers. Way to go on losing 100lbs that is awesome!!!!! You and I are currently at a similar point. I have had weight nightmares for 20 years and had basically resigned myself to being obese and gaining weight again. Then one day I got an unexpected check in the mail from the IRS (believe it or not I had overpaid on a real estate deal) and I immediately went in and booked the surgery, it was some kind of freaky divine intervention! I'm so glad to hear about your recent fill, won't it be great to reach your goal weight, mine has been elusive for 19 years...I dream of 148. I'm still recovering, yesterday was the 1st day that I finally felt human, had a heck of a time with gas and bloating, still on full liquids for another 2 weeks. SJ

I've had major buyer's remorse! What the heck have I done to myself and what am I going to do with this port bump. And worse of all I can't get any comfort from my best friends "food & wine". But boy have I had a real wake up call about how I had been living my life and the challenge ahead for me is how to substitute the evil twins for healthy alternatives especially activities.

Hi Darlene, Dr Ren in NYC, Fill Center in Mt Laurel NJ, and Dr Hinkley in MD. I will be using the MT Laurel fill center as they use fluoro, which is a heck of a lot closer than Mexico! I would not suggest going anywhere that doesn't use fluoro. Good luck on the 25th! SJ Good luck on the 25th

Does anybody know if Dr K. will do a self with BMI of 34?

Am wondering how much it costs with Spivak for self-pay? And will he do BMI of 34? Thanks
