9 days till surgery
im excited, nervous, happy and the diet isnt that bad anymore so im ready for april 2nd... hoping i can keep up the good work!!!.. -

best thing so far ive found being on the 1200 diet is isopure i only hope my taste buds after the surgery feel the same way!!!...

pre-op sucks im 3 days into my 2 week 1200 cal. diet ive learned there so much healthier choices out there and learned how to cook a whole meal under 400 cal. which is suprising to me .... however my mind is driving me insane at work i have a desk job in which i use to have a drawer full of goodies just waiting for me so hardest part for me is to be at work and cannot eat.... i am excited for my surgery all my appointments are done and surgery is april 2nd..... good luck to you all ....

having a extremely hard time finding a protein drink that doesnt make me gag.. ... does anybody have any favorites ....

yes, blender makes it frothy and yummy...just a few cubes of ice... there was something on the website of recipes for protein...I can't find it now
I forgot about the sugar free syrups! My husband likes to put vanilla and a touch of caramel in water and he said it reminds him of cream soda!
You can get them at World Market, but last time we weent to Bed, Bath, and Beyond they had a brand called "Skinny Girl" syrups, I picked up pomagranate...haven't tried it yet, but I love the raspberry in my tea and it adds a nice punch to the chocolate shakes!

1200 cal. diet sucks day 2 and i already wanna eat my arm off (>.<) i will survive this tho...

ziggy it does seem so surreal im just going with the motions right now but unfortunetly im not cleared to work out due to leg issues ... im cleared for aquatic but finding a gym with a pool is hard without it being so expensive ... ill be excited after surgery also 4 days into the 1200 cal diet is going by easier then i thought .... im excited to be 3 months from now to see my results ...

Don't worry about the exercise then. There's no way a gym with a pool would fit into my budget either. Like I mentioned, my girlfriend at work started her first 'deal's workouts four months post op, and still did perfectly. It's all about finding out what works for you. Do you realize that most of the heavy, warm clothes in your closet that we needed this past winter you will NEVER wear again?! Excellent! Replacing your entire wardrobe in 4 months sounds crazy, but it's awesome. Even if it's mostly Goodwill cloths I'm wearing! Ive told this story line before, so forgive me if you've heard it , but I was shopping for groceries several weeks ago when I realized my chest had fallen UNDER my bra! Ha! Needless to say, that bra got retired VERY quickly! And you get to shop for bend new underthings since you wouldn't want to find THAT stuff used!

so upset apparently i have to wait for 2 other people to be approved to get a dang surgery date
they only do groups of 3... couldnt get an estimated time frame or anything im extremely upset... i thought i was doing the surgury for me so why do i need to wait on others when ive completed what i need to do on my own....-

yeah i am trying to just hard.... i will not fall back on food tho during this... typically would of rummaged threw the fridge by now but im learing self controll when bad things happen have to try to make it a positive but yes i will be looking into another surgeon ... as far as i know we only have 2 in this area... thanks for the support

pinky, it's good that your staying strong through this and not binge eating, it shows you will do good after the surgery. I really think finding a new surgeon would be good, call your insurance company and explain what is going on and they may be able to help you too find someone in your area that does it. That or they could call that doctors office and be like look give this girl a date or we will pull back on payments to your office? Cover your butt cause you have pushed through to g...

I was approved threw my insurance and I'm overwhelmed with emotions mainly good I'm just excited this long process is almost over even though I know the hard parts are not here yet
