Slowest Weight Loss Ever!
Jacjourney replied to EggWithLegs's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi, I know you must be frustrated, but as my doctor explained to me - anyone can lost 20 pounds fast...but the Sleeve will give you the tool to lose the weight and then keep losing the weight. So, if you multiply your loss by 12 months - where will you be? Always helps me when I get frustratd with weeks of no losses - know your story is different, but looking at the big picture may help :-). Good luck! -

Amazing and so motivating. Thank you for sharing your story and your blog. It helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel as well! So cool! You look great and more than anything you feel great! -
It has happened to me as well - stalled for about 2 weeks and I am almost 3 months out. It is very discouraging, but it starts back again. I was even still exercising. Have lost 55 since surgery 9 December and a total of 78 from preop. Hang in there!

Staying on track during stress
Jacjourney replied to shewolf143's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am so sorry you are going through the stress - I cannot imagine having to deal with that as I am the breadwinner for my family...but my husband did lose his job and has found another. For him, he really had to plan his day like he was working. He would have a schedule for meals and for job hunting - and he found it helpful to leave the house to do it - go to starbucks and have decaf something while you are applying for jobs on the computer. I showed him how to sign on Runkeeper and he even got up to 3 miles of walking/jogging a day - also free and helped with depressing/boredom and took up time! Good luck to you - have faith that good outcomes will happen! One last thing - forgive yourself, write down the food you ate and put it behind you! :-) -
