I know how much I drink of a protein shake makes me feel a bit queezy too...the premixed ones even though only 1 g of sugar are really sweet to me...and really sweet stuff makes me nauseas...not sure if that is what is going on with you but call your doctors nurse/NP or if you have a dietitian they could let you know if that is normal. but looking at all these posts it looks like alot of us have the same issues with them. best wishes that you gt to feeling better!!!

Having trouble finding appetite
Mikee57 replied to Wendydarling19's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I'd be asking my doctor about this myself...but I am new at this...hope you get to doing better soon. Maybe catfish87 is right...I don't really know...but if it goes on for a longtime...I would consider just asking the doc about it...at least he/she could tell you if that's normal or not. will be keeping you in my thoughts. -
Darlene I must agree with all on this post...you need to go see your doctor...I don't believe it is your nerves at all. Please call him/her today!!!

Lap band fills, do you ever wish they would put in more cc's at a time?
Mikee57 replied to kassy07's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I was told that I needed more protein, was told to eat one of those Pure Protein Bars...until I could get my hunger under control. but I also get up and move around a lot more now that I feel a little better...try just walking around your house a few times!!! outside if weather permit's okay? best wishes kassy07, you'll do fine!!! My 1st fill was 2 cc's and 2nd fill was another 1 cc, so I am at 3 cc's as well...I go for my next one May 8th!!! So hang in there just don't give up...learn to eat slowly, small bites and chew chew chew...that is what is helping me. -
