I have been overweight most of my life. It wasn't until the last couple years that it has bothered me. It seems like the more I worried about it, the more I gained. I am at my heaviest point and decided to look into surgery options. A few of my friends have had gastric sleeve, and a couple have had lap band. I chose to go with lap band out of personal preference. I like the idea of it being adjustable, and possibly reversible. My final appt is next week, the waiting for insurance approval.
