I was banded Jan 22, 2013.

I was underweight most of my life, thanks to my Crohn's disease. At 22 as a result of heavy doses of cortisone steroids I gained 140 pounds. My Dr's told me not to worry the weight would come off, I guess they didn't realize they seemed to cure my Crohn's it hasn't come back since, yay?

December 2012 my Dr. became concerned that my weight was going to cause me secondary problems. Truth be told he scared me. I jumped into getting a Slimband, less than a month later. My Dr. supported the idea of WLS, liked that I was getting it in Canada. He gave me the green light (why wait the 2+ years waiting list to have the government pay).

And for the first 6 months it worked as advertised. Weight loss without dieting, eating what you want, just less. It hasn't worked that way since.

I am frustrated and need help.
