Hi everyone!! Im not feeling great today but I guess we all get good and bad days HW: 244 SW: 238 CW: 207
-
I am 6 weeks out too and I am 37 pounds down but for almost 2 weeks my scale did not move at all. I was checking my weight every day but noe I do it only once a week
-
I am so upset, 5 weeks out and no changes in my weight for more than 2 weeks!! So far I lost 25 pounds and still eating very little. I am not back at the gym yet but I do walk a lot. I am very frustrated right now ????
-
Thanks everyone for the advice. My friend had a glass of wine 6 weeks after surgery and she was fine but she said her alcohol tolerance is nothing compared to how it was before surgery. I do not want to feel bad just for one drink so I think I wont have any
-
Congrats!! I had mine 2/11 and nothing lost in the last 2 weeks!! Its driving me crazy, I am 24 pounds down
-
I have a bachelorette party this saturday but I don't know if its ok to have a drink?? My surgery was 2/11 and last time I had any alcohol was like 2 weeks prior to surgery. Any suggestions??

I do get very tired but is starting to be better now, I had the surgery 2/11 and just came back to work last week. Last friday I was exhausted!!
-
A stall in the first 3-4 weeks is completely normal. I know that doesn't help you feel better about it. I am also tired of the monotony. But I know it will get better. I hope you try to look to the future when you're feeling better and eating a more normal diet. We will get there one day. Thanks!! I know it will get better is just frustrating right now. I am looking forward to the future and to new foods lol

I keep struggling to get all my protein and liquids. On top of that I barely eat, its not a pleasant feeling at all, get full fast and makes me feel so uncomfortable right away. Im sick of eating the same over and over, I tried to have an egg but did not agree with my stomach at all and threw up just like 10 min after. Surprisingly I lost only 21 lbs and is like 28 days since my surgery, got stuck for a week with no change. Not happy right now but I keep telling myself it will improve

Not rude at all, I believe you but I also know a lot about meds and my grandfather and my dad are both doctors.
-
It seems I am not the only one that found pills instead of capsules, Costco has them too for what I just read. I took them myself but always got them at CVS, their own brand
-
Omeprazole and Prilosec are the same thing, it was the pharmacist who told me and my dad also, he is a doctor. Anyone that is having reflux should try get that if your insurance is not covering the regular Prilosec. You will be able to crush the Omeprazole because is a pill not a capsule
-
Ok, we use walgreens too, so maybe I should try cvs or somewhere else... Are you aware that Prilosec is the same as Omeprazole?? Look for that at CVS, the pharmacist told me is exactly the same and that is the one you can crush. Let me know how it goes!
-
The one I always get at CVS is not a capsule, I also got it at B,B&B and was not a capsule either
-
The Prilosec OTC is not a capsule, you can actually crush it, the prescribed one is a capsule and that is the one you cant open. I am taking Prevacid and my insurance is covering it. Hope this help!!

Just the 27?? No wonder, mine was laparoscopy and it took me at least a week to start feeling better. I had a lot of pain because the gas was trapped and I had a very hard time getting rid of it. Just wait and you will feel better, I know how it sounds but I was there, it took a little more than others but now I feel good. My surgery was 2/11 and I am still having trouble with the protein and liquids but I keep working on it. Be positive!!

I have my sleeve 2/11 and I lost 20 lbs. I tried one egg but my stomach did not agree with it, I threw up just 10 min after I finished it :-(. Im already eating pureed food but still having trouble with my protein and liquids intake. I just hope it gets better. Also feel very tired still. I love salads and I am dying for one!!

Hi everyone, I am Angie and I had my surgery 2/11. I was pretty miserable until like 6 days after it, getting rid of the gas was so hard. I have a question, everything I have makes me burp right away. I sip water, protein shake, soup and all is the same. Is this normal?? Also I lost 17lbs but nothing in the last 3 days and that freaks me out. I am so glad I found this app, thanks

Keep in mind that they will use your BMI to determine if you are eligible. Uf you are 35 or over you should be good -

Im sure you will get approved, they office knows how to deal with the insurance so leave it in their hands. I have the same thyroid condition and that lead me to diabetes, I was getting worse and even my kidneys were taking a toll. I had my surgery 2/11 and I am down 18lbs. Be positive, everything will work out. Best of luck!!!
