Ask yourself 'whats the alternative?'. Every time I feel that way something reminds me that I am merely existing and not very well at that, so whats the alternative... Well to live and i'm already dealing with extra skin that's filled with fat, my diet isn't brilliant and instead of a sedatory life because I am just too tired I will get up and move. We all have doubts and its not that we don't believe in the negatives we just have to ignore them otherwise they could cripple our future. Chin up girl you can do this,

All the best you two, the day has come and your off down the yellow brick road, I'm next week so please keep posting

Hi B2Sleever Live in northern ireland and they just don't pay for it. I did look at going private here but would have cost £10k and so it just didn't compare. I am nervous about going abroad especially as they give you so little information, seems a little like pay, go, get done, come home, though that could be normal I guess for overseas. What about you are you having it done and I guess you've had the band and a swapping over?

Hi Willow13 Had passport interview on Sat so fingers crossed as to when it gets here. Started by two protein drinks a day and will see how I go, probably try veg and fish for tea. Looking at your foods I will probably order in some green veg - what did you eat? Your weightloss such a great story, will you be doing before and after photos? Gotta remember to get my daughter to help me take my measurements tonight lol

Thanks urban, one week down and it was a hit and miss but from Monday its strict lol -
Sorry meant to congratulate u lucky knickers on ur weightloss, how's it feeling?
-
Hi Willow what fantastic weightloss. My pre op diet pretty much hit and miss but come monday super strict I hope. Are you keeping a record of inches lost as well as weightloss, I know from another post that the sleevers has shared theirs? And have you settled on your magic numbers of the breakdown of carbs, protein and water? mother's day tomorrow abd clock's go back, not quite fair lol
-
Hi luckyknickers had to go to abroad as in this part of the uk they dont offer bariactric surgery of any kind so had to self fund as well. I was very excited but my passport still not here and supposed to fly out on 7th so in limbo waiting for it. I thought I was handling it in my usual mellow way but after another freak out with the kids realised I probably wasnt. The surgeon has given me no prep so had to work out my diet and after care myself but not sure if thats normal for an overseas surgery.

Hi Roaa1106 congrats on ur date, it would be great to hear how you are doing as I'm two weeks after you. -
Lol all the time, one day convinced no, then something reminds me why I want to do it. What I try to keep in mind is that I know what can go wrong but I'm not going to let fear of the unknown or maybes stop me starting this adventure and opportunity pass me by. Hold the faith and push thru.

Vitamin deficiency?
DairyFairy42 replied to green*eyed*girl's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi green eyed girl - stop and take a breath, then another one. ive read ur posts and uve really thought this procedure thru so this is just something else you will look up and investigate. I personally need to take starflower oil for hormones and zinc and magnesium for intense periods so I know my diet of the future will need to be high in these. I know someone who had bypass and she now has b12 injections and various Vitamins and she just gets on with it and shows no sign of malnutrition. I had a wobble a few days ago so maybe this panic is normal cause I was freaking but now I've moved on and I've stored my cocerns about gerds and put in notes for the future. This is a great adventure and we have to do our homework but we can do this -
