So sorry! Our tummies are quite sensitive! And noisy! I know its uncomfortable but if you are concerned about it being something else, give your dr a call. I called quite a lot in my first few weeks. Feel better soon!

I remember being overwhelmed with the whole process too. Did your dr/nutritionist give you any info on what to do and when? You should probably be on liquids still. There is a lot of info here and don't be discouraged! Kim

Hey neighbor!

Hi, I'm Kim and would really like to get together with others on this journey with me. Hope some of you will too! I am only 8 weeks post op but would love to assist someone in Anson County, NC. We don't have any WLS support in this county. Although I am a former teacher, I don't feel that I have enough experience to head this up but would really love to see it happen!

My nut suggested using my fitness pal and I like the tracking site, but I am unsure of a few things. 1. If my total daily calories is 400, what should the sugar and carbs be? I know the protein is 60, but have never been given a daily amount for the other. I know each food should have 10g or less carbs and 3g or less sugar. Should I multiply that by 3 meals and 2 or 3 snacks? -
I know! I thought it would come off quicker! I guess it will...patience....ugh!

I am 4 weeks post op and I've only lost 13 lbs, not counting the 10 lbs I gained from fluid after surgery. But for the past week/to 2 weeks...nothing! Its driving me crazy! Suggestions please!

I posted a few days ago about localized pain above the major incision. Called dr office and they said it was the really big internal stitch that is used. Unfortunately, I now have some dizziness after I hurt that site, heartburn and a little frothy vomiting. Ok, is this just my hyperchondria in overdrive? I have a dr visit next Wednesday.
