Hi all! I'm 1 month post op today and all I can think of is a real (as opposed to diet) Coca Cola! I haven't had one in over 40 days now and today is the only day I'm craving one. Hopefully the ONLY day lol... what do you all do in this desperate time

1 month post op and my port pain is not fun. It started yesterday when I woke up and I only notice it when I walk and things "jiggle" lol! I have to hold my pory site to ease pain when I walk. Anyone else experience this? I go for my first fill Thursday and will talk to surgeon about it but wanna hear everyone's experience.

I am 13 days post op and FINALLY got good sleep last night. I'm a side sleeper and as of last night can sleep on both of my sides (with help from lots of pillows lol)! Be patient you will sleep again soon -
Hi bandsters! New to this forum and this is my first post Ok, so I'm 11 days out and on pureed foods. Let's be honest... I'm starving and have been since day 1 of my pre-op diet. Went in for my 1st post op appointment yesterday and although things look good for my incisions, my doctor is extremely concerned about the numbness/excruciating pain (at night) in my right upper thigh since surgery. Anyone else have this problem? As far as hunger, I have a 14cc band with nothing in it so I go for my first fill on 3/27... it feels like Christmas! Haha! I can't wait. I am happy about being 22lbs down but most came off during pre-op diet :\

My Dr referred me to an ortho doc to have it checked out and gave me some anti inflammatory meds... hopefully they'll work. -

Yeah, my doctor said the same thing. I was aware going into surgery of possible complications and it may not even be related to surgery. Still glad I did it
