Can someone suggest or tell me if you have had this problem. When I eat my stomach makes noise like gruling and it is so embrassing when out with friends. I recently had a fill so maybe that is the reason. I am a little tight also. The other problem is my food comes back in small amounts at times and seems to be sour. By the way this forum seems to have better answers than any doctors I ever talk to

I feel the same way you do,I was at a friends house last week and some other good friends of mine saw a pic of me and they were like o my gosh Della is or was that you. I just smiled and say that was me. I know the feeling about a hamburger,but you know I had the chance before a fill to have a full big bite hot dog,onions,relish,pickles,cheese and chili running off a 7-11 hotdog,would you believe I got sick to the stomach trying to eat that grap. Wendy, not sure if you are still having this problem,but I had the excat same problem sleeping as you have stated,excat same problems. my band was to tight and when i laid down at night the food in my pouch had no where to go. the doctor removed all the saline in my pouch for three weeks. I sleep so hard now it scares me. I go today to get a fill and will never ever have my pouch that tight again Della

My insurance paid for mine in full. The doctor said last evening that you get 3 fills included with a cash payment,any fills after that are $300.00 each. I'm really new so to be honest with you I hav had 1 fill so far and lost 30lbs in 6 weeks. most of the ladies say a good fill will last 4-6 months and most people get about 3-4 in a year. There was one lady at the meeting last evening that has had 7 fills. A lot of people pay cash for the surgery and it is my understanding that the doctor's has a great payment plan. Happy is not a good word. I was beyond happy with my first conversation with him and his staff. They all make you feel important. No question is stupid and in fact they get pist if you do not ask questions or call them if you have problems. He has a web site just go in and type eric pinnar in the search section.
