Hi guys - I had my GB surgery with hiatal hernia repair on Friday. Came home Saturday. I was feeling woozy yesterday and today and the nurse called and she told me I’m not getting in enough water. Any tips on getting water and protein in. I cannot imagine how I’m supposed to get 32-64oz of water in daily. Does this get water with time?

How far out are you? I’m glad to hear that there will be a level of normalcy back to drinking. So glad to hear this

Thanks. I’ve found that during this early stage warm tea, warm water, a liquid of warmth has been been very helpful with me getting fluids down. The Cold tends to still hurt a bit as I am only on day 4. I’m looking for my go-to drinks.

Hello. I’ve read post and comments on these forums that state that many have low energy and fatigue post surgery. Is there anything that we can take to have more energy? I’m hearing the coffee is a no for some doctors and it’s ok for others. Anything else to help bring up your energy? Also, does this subside after a while? My surgery is 12/2 and when I return to work, I want to make sure I’m not feeling tired and can’t perform

Whoo Hoo. I'm a bit nervous about being so tall and not wanting to lose a ton of weight. I see that you list 220lbs as your Goal Weight. That is idea for me as well but my starting weight is 290. We shall see. Either way, I am settled in my decision. I know it won't be easy but the easy route is not always the best route. -

Yes - I’m hoping that’s the case. -

Thank you for sharing this. So helpful for someone going in this Friday for Gastric Bypass surgery. Like you, I have long, thick, natural hair. I love my hair and I'm sure will hate to see any hairloss. I'm hoping that mine will be minimal, but definitely will make sure to take my biotin either way. Thanks for the tips. -

Hope that your progress is getting better. Are you still using the restroom more frequently or has that leveled out a bit? My RNY procedure is 12/2, this Friday. Super nervous yet excited as well.
