I had expect to be constipated, but I'm exactly the opposite. How many days post op are you? It gets easier with every day. I'm day 3 not and feeling better good

My surgeon sent me home with effervescent paracetamol for the pain and I just can't drink it!! I have sins liquid codeine but I'm afraid it will bind me up. Any tricks?

My surgery was Saturday. Was up and walking on Sunday with paracetamol as my pain killer. Feeling much better today as drain has come out. Just waiting to pass wind before being discharged!

Sitting in hospital room now, waiting to go down. Surprisingly calm and ready to start. This bit is the worst. Very happy to have lost almost 30 pounds on my four week pre op diet. Met with consultant, got stockings on, silly hospital knickers and gown. Ready to go!!

Official on last day before surgery. Saturday is my day!! And Sunday is my first wedding anniversary!

Saturday is the day for me. Getting nervous about the surgery but so excited at the same time. Messing with my head!

My surgery is scheduled for April 5th. I'm already 1.5 weeks into my 4 high protein low carb diet. I also find it challenging and have only cheated twice. I had 3 French fries from my husbands plate earlier this week and BBQ sauce today. In trying to stay strict and I must admit it's easier than has expected only because there is an end in sight. I haven't been told anything about a clean liquid finish. I like to plan and know everything in advance so it is putting me on edge.

I have my final appointment with my surgeon. I feel kind of in the dark about the process leading up to surgery on April 5th. Things like pre on testing...any suggestions on thins I should ask or might want to ask?

I've started the pre op diet (4 week liver diet). It would be involving the pre surgery testing, the procedure, things that maybe not be obvious. I'm nervous I will miss something.

Started my four week liver diet yesterday!! Very excited to get this process started!
