I had my surgery on Monday, March 24, day 2 and part of day 3 were the hardest for me. Got nauseated about 3 times, but since then I'm feeling better with each day. Today was the first day I felt a little hungry after smelling my husband's dinner cooking. This morning I had 1/2 cup of tomato soup and this evening I had 1/2 a can of fat free cream of chicken without the meat. It took me about 20 minutes to eat it & it was great. After about an hour I heated the rest and ate all of it too. I've been drinking 1/2 H20 &1/2 apple or crangrape juice. Which has been pretty easy to drink . I have also being taking teaspoons of a protein supplement to try to get my protein in, although I haven't been able to get it all my protein just yet but hopeful to get it in. Know this might sound silly, but I felt I cheated because the soup was so good and i couldn't tell if I was really full or if i was just being greedy. Nevertheless I'm Trying tto journal this journey as to keep me accountable to myself.
