I'm scared too, but I'm just telling myself that they do these all the time, they will be super nice, and the worst will be over in no time. -

I'm also on the 28th! Where are you having your surgery done? How has your pre op been going? Hi, @@Krystal0528! I'm having RNY at Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL. How about you? My last week is going okay, just frantically trying to get ahead and work and drinking liquids. It was a last-minute schedule, so I'm trying to get my head around the fact that it's sooner than I thought. -

Hey guys! My date is May 28th, so I'm just over a week away. Wishing you guys all the best!! -
@@SugarFreeMe I'm so glad to hear that you're doing well, losing so much weight, and chewing again! That complication must have been super uncomfortable. The only thing that I've experienced with anesthesia is a tendency to cry involuntarily as I'm waking, so I'm really hoping that's the only problem lol. And you're right about Dr. Guske's office + insurance. I got the call after approval and the lady seemed surprised that I was even worried! They are awesome. I wish you the best of luck and will keep you posted!

Need breakfast ideas, sick of eggs and protein shakes
cellardoor replied to NMJG's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I recently found a blog where the author writes about what she eats each day. It seems pretty diverse. I've been ferreting away ideas for post-surgery: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/ -

cellardoor replied to britleigh's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey @@britleigh I'm just as new as you so I don't have much in the way of advice, but I wanted to wish you luck, especially with that Aetna weight requirement. That would be scary to me as well. Best of luck!! -
Hey ladies, I just wanted to say hello. I just got approved by the BCBS and am just waiting to see the pulmonolgist as the last step before getting a surgery date. @SugarFreeMe: how did you surgery go?

Hey, guys, I'm having my surgery through the Kane Center in Hoffman Estates. Anyone near there? -
Sugarfreeme: Yeah, he does seem really genuine and nice! I'm so glad to hear you're having the same experience with him. I do have BCBS, so I think I'm just following in your footsteps. I wish you so much luck in these coming weeks! yvimac1: I'm having gastric bypass. How about you?I heard the nutrition classes are pretty long.

Hey guys! I just wanted to chime in since I had my first consultation with Dr. Guske at Hoffman Estates. I haven't started all the other processes yet, but I'm glad to hear that you had good luck with BCBS, Sugarfreeme. I hope all is going well with both of you.
