I'm July 7, 2014... I agree with everyone in regards to slipping here and there and getting the protein in!!! I've lost total 96 lbs!! Fluctuating here and there!!! Still have more to lose, about 25lbs more just need to up the exercising more!!! Congrats to u all on ur 1 year Anniversary!!! It was a tough but the best decision possible for a healthy life!!!

Hey there... I had Dr. Leport... He was very nice and made sure I was well taken care of.... I had some complications after surgery and Dr. Leport was there every am checking up on me... Totally recommend the group and Leport!!! Oh yeah I had surgery 7/7/14!!!

Congrats to u all... You guys look great! Location: Bloomington, CA SW: 292 DOS: 7/7/14 CW: 202 Currently at a standstill. Need to get more focus on Water and also Protein. Have 60 lbs more to lose to be at "ideal wt". Can anyone suggest any exercise programs???

Sounds good, my surgery was 7/7/14... Ur doing great!! What are u eating when u go out!!!! I'm still on full liquid/puréed diet!!! Started some refrird beans yesterday, haha and tuna today!!!! Good luck with ur journey, love to hear good news from my fellow losers!!!

Hey branstuff, sounds like ur recovering well!!! It's hard to get those cals in but as long as the fluids and protein is getting in than ur fine!!!! I find it hard to get those 2 in but my intake is getting better!!! Good luck and may I ask what type of protein shake ur taking????

I feel u, I'm having a hard time getting my protein in too!!! Tired of those shakes and we have to at least drink 32oz of water a day!!!! Totally possible but 1 sip every 5 min and u have to wait 30-60 min before eating a meal after drinking!!! Well we can complain but it will help us succeed!! We can do it!!! Can't wait until this last week of liquids is over (3weeks post surgery) then next 3 weeks of puréed!!!!! Keep at it y'all!!!

Splurge on angryviking and goodluck with surgery!!! But the best news ever is I'm going home!!! Hell yeah!!! Thanks for any prayers and motivation sent this way I totally appreciate it!!!

Thanks lilmsdiva, I'm glad ur surgery went well, hope for a speedy recovery!!! I'm still at hospital, all test look good, just waiting for my blood levels to come back!!! As long as those are fine, I'm going home!!! I have dry heaving but no vomiting and just crampy like pain!!! Tolerable no meds needed!!! Can't wait to see my 3 girls!!!!!

@ lil ms diva... Thanks, still at the hospital, had a lil setback. I guess where they attached the stomach to the intestine (suture line) it was bleeding and formed a clot. So I was vomiting blood, got a blood transfusion too. Feeling better, walking the halls and burping like a frat boy. I had a neighbor who also got the bypass and recovered without issues!!! So it's just different for everyone. Hope I didn't scare anyone, get to go home tomorrow (fingers crossed) and goodluck to those who are having surgery soon!!!
