I've struggled with my weight since I was kid I've always tried things but never could be successful on a long-term basis. I could only guess that I've gained and lost well over 1000 pounds in my lifetime and I'm ready to take this step after recent valiant efforts to lose weight by many different means. I'm having trouble with long-term maintenance and support and that's why I decided to look into bariatric surgery. This is just the beginning and I don't know how it'll turn out if I'll even be approved but I figured I would try to work on gaining some emotional support through the forums before I even start and get as much information from actual people who have lived through the surgery to help along the way.
